"Alpha!" Aurora exclaimed, her astonishment evident as she instinctively pushed David away. What on earth was Damien doing here?
"This is nothing, David is just a friend," she tried to explain the situation, but Damien seemed solely focused on David, paying no attention to Aurora. Determined to capture his attention, she stepped closer to Damien and obstructed his view.
"Alpha..." she trailed off as David abruptly pulled her to his side, shielding her behind him.
"David, I have to leave now. I will explain everything later, okay?" Aurora urged, attempting to remove her hand from his grip, but he held onto her tightly, refusing to let go. She glanced between Damien and David, realizing that if no one intervened, they might end up in a dangerous confrontation.
How could she possibly explain the situation if David wouldn't release her and acted possessive and jealous? She anticipated insults from Damien, but to her surprise, his next words shocked her.
