The atmosphere went silent, both of them gazing at each other with so many unspoken words in their eyes.
"Can we leave here?" Breaking the awkward silence, she requested.
"Alright," he nodded in response then revved the engine for departure. Getting back to the mansion, Charlotte went straight up into her room, her eyes teary as she walked away. Dave wanted to run after her but was abruptly stopped by his mother, "Can we talk?" Theresa requested.
"What is it?" Getting impatient, he asked.
"Damien is not in the mansion, do you know what the emergency is? The elders won't disclose it," she managed to find out about Damien leaving the mansion, but she wasn't told the real reason he left, which bothered her.
At least, if she knew what the emergency was for, she could manage to help Aurora.
