Brenda's wedding took place as timed, on the same day as that of Orchid, it was more grand with a happy groom and a downhearted bride
Shortly after the wedding, Brenda journeyed along with her husband to a new place, a new kingdom, a new environment and surrounded by new people
The journey to Seaton didn't take long, they arrived before noon and Brenda got to settle in
Crown prince Leon stepped into the bedroom in his blue robe, his brown curly hair fell to the side and he got on the bed with her. It didn't take long before he pulled her towards him
"What? You thought we weren't going to do it tonight?" he questioned, a playful smirk on his lips
Brenda felt uncomfortable having being touched by him, it was her first time
He picked up a strand of her hair and rolled it round his finger "I've been having the same thing for way too long, it wouldn't be bad to try a new flavor"
Brenda knew exactly what he meant and a deep frown settled on her lips. He then moved closer to her but she pulled her face away, she felt disgusted
What she did agitated him and he roughly grasped her hair
"What is it? Are you trying to deny me of my rights? What is this arrogance?"
"N-no, please...stop" he yanked her hair harder and she screamed in pain but her scream was shut when he smashed his lips heavily against hers

Orchid stepped out of the bathroom, in a silk night gown. She saw Ciaran on the bed by the lamp, holding a brown book
Her breath hitched at the thought of him waiting for her. Did he...she sighed
She then sat on the bed and slowly laid down, draping the blanket over her body and she turned to her side, facing the lit lamp
"Your heart's beating so fast. Don't worry, I do not intend on consummating our wedding tonight. Rest assured" a silent sigh escaped her lips and her heartbeat became normal
"I wasn't worried. After all, this is more like a transaction. Like you said, you want my blood for my protection, not my body"
"Hah, you amuse me. Like I said as well if you recall. I want more than your blood and that might include..." he smiled, the light from the lamp falling on half his face "Get some sleep then"
Orchid maintained quite a distance away from him and closed her eyes to sleep
Moments later, Ciaran could hear her slow heartbeat, she had fallen asleep. Her back facing him and her body glued to the edge of the bed, it was as if she could fall at any moment

The next morning, Brenda woke up to feel her body sore, they were visible purplish red marks on her neck, he was really rough with her last night. Slowly getting up, she scanned the room to find the bed empty. Her body weakly moved out of the bed and she dragged herself to the bathroom
The maids stepped in and helped her in taking her bath. After which, they tended to her hair. She made sure to wear a high necked gown to cover the hickeys all over her neck
Brenda followed the maids downstairs and headed to the dining. The dining was a long table coupled with so many chairs
At the front sat the King of Seaton, his face holding a very friendly smile. And besides him sat her husband who acted like he didn't see her coming. At the other side were two young handsome men in the same attire as that of the crown prince
"Princess Brenda..." the king called out and Brenda turned to look at him
"Greetings, your majesty" she greeted with a low bow as she sat down besides her husband
"I hope you slept comfortably?" the King asked and she nodded
"I did, your majesty"
"These are my sons, the second and third princes of Seaton. Alexander and Ares" the king did the introduction. Ares passed her a wave, he seemed to be the youngest
Meanwhile, Alexander just stared at the utensils on the table, not sparing her a glance, not that she mind
"Alright then, now that we're complete...let's eat"
