"Get her water!" Noah now screamed at the doctor who stood transfixed as if he was lost.
"Becky, Becky!!"
"N—no, no, no. She can't take water for now. Because of the herb, I gave her. It will reduce the power of the herb and cause her more danger." The doctor panicked.
"You told me she would be fine."
"Yes, I—I'm sure of it."
"Then why is she coughing?"
"Because of the poison, obviously."
"Noah, listen to me and stop talking." Becky managed to speak.
"Yes, talk to me, my dear."
"Y—you're too scared. I'm going to be alright. I just need to vomit the poison and I think it coming out."
"What?! G—get something for her vomit into, Leo. Hurry!" Before he could finish speaking, Becky shoved herself off his arm and forced herself to the window. She continued to throw up out of the window until her strength couldn't take it anymore.
"Are you feeling better now?" Noah asked after a while Becky relaxed.
"Maybe a walk with you in the hillside will make me fill better."
"It's cold outside, do you think you can handle it?"
"As long as I'm with you, I can handle anything." Becky took his warm hands into hers and nibbled a soft, tender kiss on his neck since she can't kiss his lips because of the poison.
But somehow Noah felt the need to clean it before he gets infected and no one would help each other.
"T—the poison." Noah unintentionally muttered.
"It's okay she kisses you even on the lips." The doctor assured him.
"Are you sure?"
"100 per cent sure."
Becky did not wait for the doctor to finish and she petted his closed lips with a kiss without diving further into his mouth, she too was scared of infecting him with the poison but she needed to let him feel how much she loved him.
"So doctor Leo, you gonna watch us kiss?" Noah's domineering look struck the doctor.
"I—didn't mean to." He stuttered. He lowered his head and resigned himself.
"Let him be Noah." Becky beckoned on him.
"Why should I? Leave." He ordered the doctor.
"Noah?" Becky was surprised at Noah's action.
"I would want to leave but I can't since I have to make sure she is okay. But I will turn my head instead."
"Good."
"Noah, are you kidding me right now? We were only kissing and you got offended by him watching?" Becky couldn't help but hang her lips in surprise.
"You should know me by now, Becky."
The wolf doctor could only keep his gaze low, but he knew without looking, that Becky's arms were wrapped on Noah's neck as he carried her in his arms. He only looked up when they were not kissing anymore.
The three of them walked quietly through a secret tunnel built underground which its end leads to the large vegetation of the hill. There was no way they would follow the main door of the underground since security cameras had been placed at all corners.
"I want to spend every moment with you, Noah," Becky said in a soft low tone and she gently parted her lips from his again.
"Becky," Noah's voice echoed as his feet clapped gently on the floor of the lonely tunnel.
"Yes, my Noah."
"Stay with me. Don't you dare leave, you know I can't take it if you do. Promise me you won't leave."
"I promise you that."
Now out of the tunnel and towards the hill, they kept whispering.
"Do you remember the first day we met?" The two voices thrilled off as they whispered in the dark hill. Noah carried her in his arms and headed towards their favourite spot where the wide.
"Yes in high school, in our final year, when the two of us got into a fight and discovered that we were werewolves. We barely escaped the secret and almost changed into our wolf form.
The Dean noticed it, but luckily for us, he was also a werewolf and he ended up punishing us for a whole week without letting the school authority know our secret." Becky said it all, just the thought of it brought a smile to her face, and she couldn't help but laugh at the cause of the fight.
"Weren't you too jealous then? Even though you were just a teenage girl." Noah asked and hissed a peal of laughter.
"You choose her as your prom mate instead of me."
"It wasn't my fault anyway. I hadn't met you until a week before our prom day. I never knew you existed for me to love you instead, but you went ahead and confronted me for loving someone else over you. You even dared to kiss me on the first day I met you."
"And you fell for it. You left the other girl after I kissed you in front of her, didn't you? You were not a loyal lover."
"That is not true."
"If you were, why did you dumb her right in front of everyone after I told you I love you?"
'Because I fell in love with you on that very spot. Isn't that what you call love at first sight? I was even more surprised you were bold enough to kiss me after declaring your love in front of everyone.
That sexy, soft, rose lips tasted so sweet and I wanted to get more of it. The other girl wasn't that sweet to me. Only you Becky was what I wanted since then'
Becky pulled his head roughly and pouted when he was not answering her questions.
"Hey! Why did you do that?" Noah frowned playfully.
"Nothing. Y—you were not concentrating. Y—you didn't answer my question." Becky defended bashfully.
She had imposed this question right now just to get the three words out of his lips. There was no way he would care this much for her if he didn't love her. She didn't just want to believe that action speaks louder than words.
She needed to hear it, her heart was dying to hear it. She didn't just want to be in this friend-in-need relationship anymore. She wanted something more.
She was getting impatient.
"What aspect of your questions did I not answer?" He inquired. He too was anxious of telling her how he felt. He still needed a lot of courage for it.
"I have been with you since that high school but..." Becky broke in her voice. 'Say it Becky you wont get it until you forced him' She chastised herself inwardly.
"But what?" Noah was also buying time for his palpating heartbeat. To be more romantic now, he choose to tease her with his questions, not knowing he was wrecking someone's heart.
"You never told me..." Her voice thrilled off again. Becky felt intimated by Noah's torturing questions that she suddenly felt shy. She suddenly wanted to get out of his warm hands for the first time with him.
"Put me down. I can walk on my own."
"No way. I won't until we have reached our favourite spot."
"Noah put me down!"
"No. Way. Ma'am Becky." Noah said sarcastically word by word.
"If you're not gonna say it then put me down!"
"Say what really? Tell me."
"That you Lo...!"
For a moment Noah's racing heartbeat forgot that Becky was not feeling better and he unintentionally let her slip off his arm thinking that she would catch herself.
"Arghhhh!" Becky screamed the moment she felt a rough pain in her butt. Shocked Noah bent to carry her up.
"Becky, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." The rest of his apology was buried in another chilling kiss.
"Becky, don't make me lose it here. I might not stop and you know we are in the forest, I prefer doing it inside the room."
"Foolish." Becky grabbed a twig and sent it to Noah's handsome face.
"Hey stop!"
"Arrogant, Noah." Becky frowned and sent another one on his lush golden hair.
"Won't you stop?!"
"Silly moron." She still grabbed the third, about to send it again, Noah grabbed her and jerked her up.
"I'm gonna do bad things to your body if you don't stop. Your anger is only elevating my libido."
"I hate you, Noah, you're too arrogant. Timid... to your lover."
"And I love you, Becky. I love every part of you. Your jealousy, your boldness, your care for me, just everything, just everything."
Becky began to smile, it turned into a giggle and slowly she began to laugh.
"Why are you laughing?"
"I made you say it."
Just then Noah realized what he did. It only escalated his heartbeat but he said it already, there was nothing else he could do. He felt relieved about it and his smiles were just all over the place.
"Very well Becky, you are brave," Noah said teasingly.
"Now I know I'm going to heal faster."
That reminds him, how was she feeling now? "I hope the poison is not still hurting you."
"Take me to our favourite spot and I will answer you."
"We are almost there," Noah said as they neared a space cleared in the middle of the hill.
He laid her down and led beside her facing the sky.
"You haven't answered me, Becky. How are you feeling now?"
"Look at me, Noah."
Noah turned to face her, but she remained silent.
"Look into my eyes, Noah."
Like a little boy obeying orders from cranky parents, he peered into her eyes. Becky turned him over so that he was now on top of her. She wrapped her arms around his waist and made him lean closer to feel her body.
With her boldness again, Becky said,
"Silly head, let's make love right here, right now."
