"Melanie." Melissa corrected.
"You have other questions for me?" Melissa asked.
The Inspector looks at the officer who takes notes of Melissa's statement. He hesitated for a minute then smiled at the serious young woman.
"No other questions. You can go back now."
Melissa bowed politely. "Thank you."
The moment she left, Inspector Maynard sprang out of his seat. He stared at the pile of information they have gathered from the three suspects.
"Out of the three, who do you think has the motive to kill the Chairman?"
The officer scratched his head. "Melissa?"
The Inspector nodded. "Do you think the lawyer did not know about Melissa's relationship with his son?"
The officer was unsure. "I think he knew. Because if he had been with the victim for ten years, the victim should have trusted him and let him know the current affairs of his family to get advice on what to do."
"Why do you think so?"
