"Oh I just used mana to surround it since I tried aura first but got no reaction so I decided to try mana and it seems it registered mine" David spoke with ease as he looked closely at his ring.
David looked at his James seeing him in shock, he turned around to see the others staring at him the same way "what it's just simple I guess" he brought out the spear again taking it back in.
"okay okay let me explain why we are all in shock" lily volunteered standing up as she put her hands on her waist "for a child your age it's impossible to register your mana into a storage ring cause your mana at your age is supposed to be hmmm.... not enough".
"so you registering your mana by yourself into a storage ring makes your mana capacity more than most humans who run mana" lily sat down as she breathed out taking a glass of water and gulping it down.

"I'm so exhausted" David dropped on his bed as he faced the ceiling.
'looks like you are a big deal in your family' Damian laid down closing his eyes
"mhm I know but I don't really care about that for now" David too closed his eyes soon dozing off.
the sun yet to come up as the morning dew were visible on the field and fogs clearly seen in the area as a figure tore through the wind running faster than normal.
"ah I'm still slow damn it" David forced a stop as the wind blew past him blowing away the fog and the dew on the gras.
'hm he's really pushing himself' Damian sat not far from him watching him train as he ran again going about two kilometres and back.

"looks like you are hard at work" James said as he suddenly appeared in front of David "but you shouldn't overdo it".
David rolled the side to look at James as he sat up "good morning uncle".
"mhm good morning" James replied while sitting beside David as he stared at the cute cub beside him.
"still cute as usual" James said as Damian turned his butt to him showing dislike for calling him cute.
"looks like we got another oldie" David chuckled staring at Damian who looked back at him with an angry gaze.
"so how did your training go" James asked as he stared at the grass.
David looked up at James then at the grass as he opened his mouth "it was good,..." stopping for some second before he continued "I encountered Damian, then we ran away from a beast that I think might be a gold rank or a peak silver rank B cause of its aura was huge and terrifying it made me faint and Damian took me and ran.
after some days we encountered some wolves and a silver rank C dark wolf" David started enjoying narrating his story not knowing when the sun had gone up shining it's light all over.
"and then we came home" David narrated everything except for the part about Aisha.
"I see that's good to hear" James nodded as he put his two hands behind him resting more comfortably on them.
"thank you uncle I really mean it, thank you" David said again as he smiled looking up at James.
"I'm glad you are safe David I really am" James waved his hand bringing out an old scrolled up map.
"what's that uncle" David became really curious as he stared intensely at the map.
"it's a map of worlds...and some of the forbidden worlds and places unseen" James said with excitement as he looked back at the map in his hands.
"have you been to the forbidden worlds uncle" David asked remembering about the forbidden worlds.
"of course no I haven't, that's because I'm marked already" James smiled receded as if reminiscing about the past.
"marked how, what do you mean" David asked bringing James out of his thought.
"well I myself don't know but what I can say is you are different very different" James stared at David intensely as if looking through him.
David covered his body as he squinted his eyes "what are you looking at uncle".
James slapped David's head "what do you take me for" suddenly he turned serious again as he put the map in Davids hand "there's hope of getting to your father and the others and you are the hope" James removed his hand as he looked back at the grass.
"mhm I understand uncle" david gritted his teeth as he gripped the map hard "I won't let go of this opportunity".
James nodded seeing David's determination "I'm sure you have heard of other hidden immortal families the exiled, the dark and the over righteous, make sure you stay away from them or you could crush them".
David looked up at James seeing the raging fire in his eyes.
"they are pests that shouldn't be existing" Jamed sighed as he breathed in and out.
"yes uncle" David nodded obediently.
"good I guess it's time for me to go now, also you shouldn't be able to read the map till you have reached a certain level and power so don't fuss" James said as he stood up.
"mhm" David hummed as he stared at the map before putting it In his ring while James disappeared.

maids could be seen rushing to and fro in the kitchen and the garden as plates and cups, bowls and trays were carried in and out.
"what's going on" David asked as he got out of the glass box and Aisha by his side with Damian in her arm.
"they are preparing a grand feast for the welcoming of elder phoenix, I heard he's returning today" Aisha answered his curiosity as she stroked Damian's fur.
"oh great grand pa phoenix is coming back" David said happily as he turned back to get prepared too "I wonder why I haven't seen or heard of grandpa Christopher".
"I heard he's on a mission tho there isn't much I know" Aisha answered again.
"I see, anyway why didn't you tell me first hand that great grand pa phoenix is coming" David squinted his eyes at Aisha as he interrogated.
"I couldn't disturb you when you were busy training young master, forgive me" Aisha bowed slightly feeling somewhat guilty.
"it's okay just help me get dressed" David was about to go back into the glass box when a griffin sound followed by a carriage landing in front sounded.
"elder phoenix is here" the head main and head butler stood at the door as the other maids and servants assembled at the door side.
David stopped in his footsteps as he stared intensely at the door.
suddenly the door opened and a man with a white hair wearing a yellow cape with a red lining as the serene and warm aura flowed from his body spreading through the room.
"g-great grand pa phoenix welcome back sir" David greeted even before the maids as they too followed.
"greetings elder phoenix welcome back to the Wayne's mansion" they all said in unison as phoenix walked straight to David.
"you have grown up and much stronger much much stronger" phoenix narrowed his eyes as he stared at David with a smile.
"yes grandpa" David nodded continuously.
"mhm soon you will be meeting your betrothed" phoenix said out of nowhere.
"wait what" David looked blankly at phoenix.
"yes you will be... wait you ain't happy" phoenix scratched his head as he suddenly felt embarrassed.
"why will I be, I'm only eight and im supposed to decide whom I want to be with or not" David felt a lil angry as his heart hardened.
"brother welcome" James came forth interrupting their conversation.
"let's talk about this later as a family in th dinning hall okay" phoenix patted David's shoulder as he walked over to James giving him a hug.
"what the fuck is going on" David muttered.
