Everyone gathered in the dinning hall as they all chatted making it more lively with phoenix at the end of the table telling stories each time.
except for David whose head was lowered on the table as he contemplated about his arranged marriage, he turned his head to Damian who was watching him worriedly.
"have you been married before" David asked while the latter shook his head as he put his paw on David's head consoling him "...I didn't lose someone, stop it".
Damian walked closer to David as he grab a steak deeped in sauce and bolted off.
"....." David could only watch as the bear cub sprang off the table to a Corner with a steak in its mouth, looking down, he saw the big empty plate that was once filled with meat "your days of free food is almost over" David said as he grinned evily at the corner Damian ate his steak.
Damian shivered but couldn't care less as it devoured the steak and licked the sauce leaving no proof of existence.
"Now I have something important to say" phoenix voice rang through the whole hall as both maids and servants perked their ears up to listen.
"my old friend Zeus white as laid down a marriage proposal for both David wayne and rose white" phoenix looked at the families face as James showed a hint of worry but soon replaced with a smile and Martha looked towards Carla who just had a plain face.
"rose white the whites prodigy, I heard she's really one of a kind with great talents too, so I think it's okay" lily said with a cheery smile as she winked at David.
"maybe we should let David decide on his own path" James proposed giving Carla a sigh of relief as she had been holding herself.
everyone looked towards David as series of emotions flashed through as the question popped up in his head 'is Sarah in this world too', he looked up as he asked "tell me about the whites and about this rose" if she was even if it's a little bit of his past life Sarah he would walk on fire to be with her.

"so what do you think" Carla asked trying to read her son's emotion.
"mum which family are you from?" David asked as he drew his chair closer to her.
Carla got off guard by the question as she smiled "I'm from the lights immortal family from mezalon" she answered with a stuff smile as she patted David's head.
"I see, if this rose is my age then that means she would be going to the crinton academy right?" David asked as he tried not to balance out his options.
james smirked while Carla nodded at David's decisiveness "yes" phoenix answered diligently.
"then how about knowing her first rather than jumping into a decision" David stood up as he spoke with confidence that questioned his age.
phoenix looked at david for a while before he smiled proudly "that's a good decision, you really have shown your prowess with your decision this time David, you really are growing up" phoenix praised him.
"you praise me too much grandpa" David smiled as he secretly sighed and prayed to meet Sarah again in this life.
"stop been modest and get more praises for yourself " lily nudged him.
"mhm you really should" Martha commented from the side.
"since you are going to crinton academy in the next two years, you should rest till then and get prepared" james said as he got up "I will be going to herrax soon so I have to pack up soon" he walked towards a door, entering it as it disappeared.
"uncle is leaving?" David asked as he watched the blue particles floating in the air.
"yes he has something he has to do and someone he has to meet" phoenix eyebrows fell showing the pity he felt.
David suddenly felt worried seeing the sad worried look on phoenix 'hope uncle is okay'.

night came as the stars scattered all around the skies and the full moon shining it's bright light on the world as a David laid on a mat on the grass string at the sky with Damian beside him.
"what are you thinking about little one, something perverted?" someone whispered into David's ear making him jump up as he rolled on the ground and taking a combat stance.
"hey it's me" James laughed out as he wiped of a tear.
"u-uncle I didn't know it was you" David scratched his head as he felt embarrassed when he suddenly thought 'how come I couldn't feel his presence or hear his steps'.
as if knowing David's thought "you are still young don't bother yourself with matters of the future" James sat on the mat beside the sleeping Damian who was already in too deep in his sleep.
"... okay" David sat down beside James as they both gazed at the sky.
"I will be going soon I just came to say good luck not good bye, good byes are forever so don't worry I'm not staying long" James spoke with his soft yet flawless voice.
"uncle d...I mean I will be expecting you" they both continued to stare at the sky untill James got up and the rest of the family came to the field.
"don't be long brother" lily with her green and white hair waved at James.
James squinted his eyes as he smiled mockingly "eh the boring one is trying to be fun" lily smile grew wider as she used a vine to whip James butt.
"safe journey lord James" both Martha and Carla said their farewells.
"don't be long brother" phoenix hugged James.
"oh before I forget, you can have more than one wife David" James said jokingly as he started to turned into blue light.
"like I will" David managed to yell out before James disappeared totally.
"ehehe so you don't like having more wives" lily put her hand around David as she chuckled.
"no it's too troublesome" David said as they all walked back to the mansion.
days passed weeks passed and two years crossed by marking the tenth birthday of David.
maids and servants were seen moving to and fro as they decorated the mansion and served the food on the table.

"happy birthday young master" Aisha greeted as she packed up the curtains making the sun light enter into the room.
"uh I'm still so tired just give me some minute" David said as he rolled to the other side with his blanket over his head.
"you shouldn't have overestimated your body by over training rigorously yesterday young master" Aisha said.
"get up now" the blanket was dragged off David's head as he turned around only to see his mum staring daggers at him.
"m-mum" David sat up hurriedly "good morning mum".
"get dressed now" Carla said staring seriously at David.
"y-yes" he dashed to the bathroom ignoring the fatigue all over his body as he washed up and got dressed and walked into the dinning hall.
"happy birthday young master David" the maids greeted "happy birthday young master David" the servants too greeted.
entering into the dining hall as lily squeezed his cheek and locking him into her embrace "happy birthday dear nephew".
"go-good morning aunt lily" David blushedhard as his head hit the melons and perfume invaded his sensitive nostrils.
"happy birthday David" Martha caressed his hair as rubbed smoothly on it.
"hey lt him go already lily" phoenix said as he came closer "happy birthday young Wayne".
lily let go off David as he bowed slightly "thank you grandpa phoenix".
"now let's go eat" phoenix sat on the first chair and rest sat on the nearby chairs.
David looked at the empty seat of James missing him then he looked at his father's seat making his heart ache more as tears threatened to burst out.
Damian came close as he nozzles his head into David's hand trying to comfort him "I'm good I'm okay it's okay" David tried comforting himself as he rubbed Damian's fur.
everyone and everywhere fell silent as they all watched David.
"are you okay David" Carla came close to him as she hugged him "I understand how you feel, but remember why you want to become stronger".
David nodded as hugged his mum back "I'm okay mum".
"good" Carla said as they both sat down.
they Merried happily as they gisted and told many stories until the day passed by quickly and the day for David to leave for crinton academy came.
