Everyone was able to use their attributes after a ceremony at the age fourteen.
But Raven wasn't able to use them, the reason for that was unknown. Which made him quite disappointed in himself.
But his mother told him that he has an attribute but it will take a few more years to awaken.
There are few cases where some people awaken theirs late because of some reasons.
Those who awaken late does not mean that they awaken weak attributes.
He did not doubt his mother because he believes in her. So till his attributes awaken he trained his magic element and sword.
He sometimes practices Bow too, Because Aria is a close range fighter he wants to be proficient in both close range and long range so they can hunt monsters with a variety of attacks.
After three years there was still no signs of his attributes awakening until a week ago, While he was training Raven suddenly fell unconscious.
Both Ellane and Arai were anxious and worried , After checking his body Ellane calmed a little and assured Aria that nothing happened to him but his attribute of his awakening.
Both of them were happy for him, Because even though he didn't tell them and acted like nothing was wrong with him.
They knew Raven has been quite uneasy because he didn't awaken his attributes, But now it will change.
"Raven are you alright?" Asked Ellane worriedly.
Raven slowly opens his eyes. Both Ellane and Aria were shocked because Ravens eyes had changed And before his both eyes were black colour now his left eyes are still black but there are countless small stars in it, As for right eyes it had myriad if colors like a small colourful gem.
His both eyes looked mesmerizing. Raven looked at both of them and hugged them without saying anything. Only after he hugged did they come out of their dazed state.
They both hugged him tightly, Ellane and Aria's eyes were moist. After a few minutes Raven ended the hug and used his thumb to wipe the tears of their eyes.
"I'm sorry for making you guys worry." Raven said in a sad tone.
Both Ellane and Aria quickly shook their heads and said "you don't need to apologize, we are your family it is only right that we worry about you," Ellane said and changed the subject. "what happened to you do you know anything about it?"
Even though it looked like that was his attribute that awakened but there was something different about it, So Ellane asked him if he knows something.
Raven smiled and anxiously said "Yes i know but it will take some time to explain".
Seeing him like that Ellane regretted asking that question.
Ellane saw that he was hesitating to talk. Raven was little afraid because of what they will do if they learn about his past. A determined look appeared in his eyes and he composed himself all will tell them everything without hiding anything.
" Darling it's alright you should take some rest we can talk later" Ellane said hurriedly to which Aria also nodded.
Seeing her act like that he smiled, He knew whatever happened his mother and sister will always love him no matter what so he told them.
"There is nothing to worry i'm alright, let me tell you guys why I fell unconscious and about that white light that surrounded my body before I woke up." Said Raven.
"To tell you the truth this is my seventh life" Raven said and paused and looked at both of their expressions which didn't change. Ravn smiled and continued " But on every hundredth birthday i would die."
Both Ellane and Aria were shocked but stayed and continued to listen to raven.
"In my first lifetime when my hundredth birthday came i came to know that i would have to die five more times to awaken all my attributes and abilities. At first i was confused and a little scared as to why this was happening to me. When i was about to die I came to know that i hold tremendous power but for me to use these power i have to experience and six times."
"Why six times why not less or more?" Aria asked curiously.
