Damon reached the room and placed Amelia gently on the bed hovering on top of her, he pulled away from the kiss and stared at her for a while, one of his hands that supported his body went over to caresses her face like she was the most precious thing he had ever seen.
He lowered himself attacking her lips again but this time more gentle than before.
Amelia felt her heart going crazy as it kept beating faster and louder, she was even afraid that Damon might hear it.
Damon left Amelia lips and went to her ears biting it lightly, "Don't zone out, focus on me alone." He said whispering into her ears, Amelia not knowing how to respond just nodded in a daze.
She wondered where the sudden gentleness was coming from, and also all though he did not show it, Amelia felt happiness radiating from Damon.
She tried to think as hard as possible what could it could have been that made Damon this happy but she was distracted by a sharp bite on her shoulder.
