"Granny, what are you saying I am your beloved Lia." Amelia quickly got into the character of Amalia she saw through the memories that was passed on to her.
"My beloved Lia? I am not very sure about that, you may talk like her, or call me Granny the way she does and have the same body as her but you are definitely not her." The old woman said before pausing rubbing her chin.
Amelia cursed under her breath wondering how the old woman found her out, Amelia eyes scanned the hospital room to see if there was anything there for her to use and knock the old woman out so she could run away from this place, it would not turn out well if she was discovered not to be Amalia, a chuckle broke through Amelia thought.
Amelia turned to see the old woman chuckling making her wrinkles pack up in a disgusting way, it would have been more preferable for the human eye if this woman never smiled at all because her smile was not something worth it, Amelia thought repulsed at the sight.
"Seems the devil could not wait could he?" The woman said like she was talking to herself but Amelia knew it was her the question was being thrown to.
"The devil?" Amelia asked unsure of what she just heard as her mind went back to the voice that had made a deal with her in the eerie darkness, could he really be the devil?
"Do you know him personally? Can you call him out? There are some things am not yet sure of about this happening to me." Amelia said one after the other, unknowingly confirming the old woman's suspicions.
"I am not obliged to answer those questions young lad, the answers would naturally reveal themselves to you." The old woman said before disappearing, yes, disappearing.
Amelia eyes widened as she looked about for where the old woman had gone to, "Is this some kind of magic trick? haha very funny." Amelia chuckled deeply feeling creeped out, after checking everywhere to no avail of finding the old woman.
Amelia headed to the bathroom in a daze to go wash her face and make sure she was not just in another dimension for the dead because how on earth can a living or breathing human disappear without no trace.
Amelia felt the banging headache coming back to her at the thought of it, it was just so unreal.
On getting to the bathroom, Amelia turned on the tap, splashing water on her face as she tried to get herself together.
Amelia proceeded to clean the fog on the bathroom mirror only to receive another shocker that sent her stumbling to the floor making her land on her buttocks hardly.
Amelia hands hurries patted her face in awe, if she was not mistaken the face she had seen in the mirror was her original face as Amelia, everything was so on point.
Was this all a dream or a trick, if it was Amelia did not see the fun in it any longer.
Amelia carefully used the sink to prop herself up, wanting to look into the mirror again to be sure whether it was face or not but coming face to face with the mirror, Amelia eyes involuntarily closed she was not really prepared for the outcome.
Amelia took a deep breathe in before letting it out, maybe it was just an illusion, how could someone different from her have an identical face with her.
Yes, it was probably an illusion Amelia chanted in her head before slowly opening her eyes to see the reflection in the mirror.
On opening her eyes Amelia hands flew to her mouth in shock, it was not an illusion, it was her face alright, her own face but how?
Amelia poked her face with her finger multiple times unable to believe it, as she closed her eyes to take a deep breath and gather herself yet another shocker waited for her.
On opening her eyes, the colour had changed, it was not the normal brown eyes she had originally seen but this around her right eye had changed to emerald green in colour while the other stayed brown.
Amelia almost cried out but not wanting anyone to see the changes she held it in, what was wrong with her? why is she like this? Was it a mistake coming back or what? Amelia wondered as tears gathered her eyes, all she wanted was revenge not this, this was too hard to bare.
Amelia headed back into the ward with her eyes having dim lights, what could have happened? She wondered.
Then Amelia suddenly remembered that this was not her body, what about if it was something the original owner of the body, Amalia, already had before she took ownership.
Amelia suddenly thought of the accident that Amalia had, although it was ghastly and any normal humans would have died on the spot, why does she feel okay? Amelia thought that even if she was not the one who had the accident, the pain should still reside in the body of the person who had it but currently she was not feeling any pain.
In fact, Amelia felt like she could do a million push ups without breaking a sweat because of the energy gushing through her at the moment.
Amelia then thought back to the memories she saw when she fainted. Amelia then had not seen Amalia face and could not say exactly whether or not she had two different eye colours, nor could she remember any memory about anyone mocking or complimenting her because of her eyes, except....
The memories that were missing from the time Amalia went to the country side maybe those memories had the answer to the dilemma that she was in now.
But Amelia was at a fix of what to do, solve Amalia's mystery first so she could understand the body she is living in or Get her revenge first? She was not really sure if the missing memories could cause a backlash in future.
