Daohua saw Xiao Yeyang coming, and she was so excited she was nearly in tears.
Xiao Yeyang grabbed the bow and arrows from the Hidden Guard's hand and with a 'whoosh' sound, directly hit the python in its vital part. Then, with another arrow, he shot the python down the cliff.
After dealing with the python, Xiao Yeyang quickly approached the edge of the cliff and pulled Daohua up.
Suppressing her fear and the aftereffects of her fight with the python, Daohua's hands and feet were weak as she leaned motionless against Xiao Yeyang's chest, her heart still racing.
Xiao Yeyang gave Daohua a quick once-over; seeing no apparent injuries, he felt relieved and then couldn't help but scold her, "What am I supposed to say to you, coming out here, why didn't you call for me, running over by yourself? Don't you know there are dangers all over the deep forest?"
Daohua replied in a muffled voice, "I thought you would follow me."
