Still fighting Zia after the arrival of the soldiers from the haven, Anna was currently in the form of a five-tailed wert. She looked exactly like Zia apart from the fact that her hair was blue in colour and it was shorter than Zia's, not reaching Anna's waist level.
Anna was moving as fast as she could, dodging, evading and avoiding the air strikes Zia was using to attack her.
Zia had the element of air as her magic and being a five-tailed wert, she could do a lot of things with her magic.
From where she stood, she was creating sharp bladed air strikes out of the air around Anna so Anna had very little time to dodge the attacks.
Due to Anna being in the form of a five-tailed wert, her natural speed and the added speed of a five-tailed wert made Anna faster than Zia but even that was not enough for Anna to be unscathed during the fight against Zia.
Due to the close proximity of the attacks, Anna did not have enough time and space to successfully dodge each attack, therefore leading to her having multiple cuts all over her body. Black blood was flowing out of the cuts and Anna jumped back twice.
She needed a time out to figure out how to stop Zia. If she continued at this rate, Zia would eventually win the fight.
"Obviously this isn't working." Anna said, shapeshifting back into her normal form and the black blood also changed colour to red. "Air magic. I think lightning magic should do the trick."
Shapeshifting once more, Anna's skin began to turn brown and get thicker than it usually was. Her eyes becoming smaller than they were and her limbs, getting far bigger with her teeth now turning into a set of complete fangs.
As she grew in size, two pairs of arms grew from her sides and a horn came out from the top of her head, along with two tails which were swaying violently in the air.
Facing Zia, Anna was now a six-armed beast with a horn and two tails, baring her set of fangs at Zia who simply smiled and started laughing.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall." Creating a visible whip out of air which was constantly in motion, Zia held onto it with one hand and in the other hand, she created a very large mallet and held onto it.
The objects she had formed with the air could be seen clearly due to the way she controlled the air. Zia kept condensing the air particles making them as strong as possible, giving them a somewhat solid state. Even as objects, the air particles were in constant motion, giving the objects an airy appearance and also slightly frightening.
Stretching her hands out, the whip and mallet began growing in size and length. Though they were not initially long enough to reach Anna, as they moved forward, air particles began joining with the objects making the range of the objects almost limitless.
Seeing the weapons coming towards her at a very fast speed despite their size, Anna did not flinch, instead she stood her ground and waited for the weapons to get closer to her.
When she was ready, Anna pushed her feet into the ground and from the long horn sticking out of her head, she fired a long and steady bolt of lightning at the weapons coming towards her.
On impact, it looked like the air particles which formed the weapons were distorting and the weapons were breaking apart, but Zia wasn't just standing around doing nothing.
As Anna kept the lightning bolt steady and continued firing it at the weapons, Zia was putting the weapons back together, making sure it was strong enough to withstand the continuous blast of lightning from Anna.
Using her hand, Anna fired out multiple lightning bolts at Zia while still firing the lightning bolt from her horn.
Zia tried to use her air magic to block the lightning bolts being shot at her but when the lightning bolts hit the air barriers, it broke apart after a few hits and the bolts kept on heading straight for Zia.
Quickly retracting her hand, Zia tried to use the air whip to stop the lightning bolts but they were moving too fast for her to stop them in time.
The lightning bolts hit Zia on her leg, hand, stomach, and different other places and they still kept coming from Anna's hands.
Anna had six hands so she was able to send out a very large number of lightning bolts all at the same time, making it extremely difficult for Zia to dodge or stop them.
Due to getting hit over and over again, the weapons Zia had formed were beginning to dissipate and Anna had stopped firing the lightning bolts from her horn and from her hands.
Closing the distance between her and Zia in a single jump, Anna used Zia's distraction to her advantage and threw out a punch using all six of her arms with lightning running wild and sparking dangerously on each of the hands.
Zia was punched into the ground and the lightning had sent an ample amount of electric current into Zia's body, shocking her and dealing more damage.
An attack like that would have killed most people and completely decimated them to the extent that there wouldn't be a body remaining, but Zia was a five-tailed wert.
Spreading her wings while still in the ground, Zia flew straight out of the ground and when coming out, she used all her speed and strength to deliver a punch on Anna's chin which made it look as though the punch shifted the front part of her whole face but mostly affected Anna's jaw, which had broken completely and was now out of shape.
Getting back on her feet after the punch she had just received from Zia, Anna was using her hand to adjust her jaw and fix it back in the right position. There was a lot of blue blood flowing out from Anna's mouth, and her face, though the face of a six-armed beast, was scrunched up in pain.
However, Anna was not the only one who was dealing with injuries. The attack from Anna had done a lot more damage to Zia than she had thought.
The lightning attack had done both external and internal damage and to Zia, it felt like her insides were on fire and could crumple to bits if she received another attack as deadly as the one before.
There were burn marks all over Zia's body and black blood was slowly seeping out of them.
Having recovered a bit from each other's attacks, they both faced themselves and were preparing to end the fight.
Anna jumped towards Zia while Zia flew towards Anna. They both caught themselves midair and Anna fell Zia to the ground.
They both were so engulfed in the fight that none of them noticed Sky approaching slowly. Around him, there were weapons close to him, such as swords, shields, spears, daggers, ball and chain, among other things.
The weapons were floating in the air and when he saw space between Anna and Zia, he sent all the weapons towards Zia and began to form a bulwark around her.
"Thought you might need some help." Sky said when Anna looked in his direction, confounded by the appearance of the weapons.
Zia was using her tails and claws to break the weapons that surrounded but as she broke them more were coming.
Looking in the direction the weapons were coming from, Zia saw Sky and figured out that he was the one controlling the weapons.
Shouting in anger and annoyance, Zia ran right through the weapons and headed for Sky.
While Sky was distracting Zia, Anna had been gathering lightning all over her body and was preparing for an attack that will kill Zia on impact.
"I'm basically putting all my mana into this so it better work." Anna said to herself, still gathering as much lightning as she could and making as strong as possible.
Dark clouds were forming in the pink sky due to the amount of power and energy Anna was putting into the attack.
Seeing Zia head towards Sky, Anna knew it was time to release the attack she had been preparing for.
A large lightning bolt, three times as big as the ones she had fired out before and three times as powerful, was released from her horn and all the lightning on her body was moving towards the horn.
The lightning was a dark blue colour and the speed was too fast for even Zia to react to.
The lightning bolt hit Zia squarely on her back and Sky, seeing the caliber of the attack, moved away to protect himself.
The attack was burning every bit of Zia's body and when it finally stopped, Zia's body had been burnt and turned into dust.
A giant scorch mark was left on the ground were Zia once was and the dark clouds were already turning into a clear sky, until something else caught the attention of almost everyone on the battlefield.
Fire could be seen in the air and it appeared to be emanating from one point. There was already plenty of smoke and dust in the air due to all the fighting that was happening, but the fire was able to be seen clearly even through all of that.
"What the hell is that now?" Sky said, letting out a groan.
