"Woohoo!" Cat exclaimed with joy. She and Jake were currently on a death ride after getting their tickets from the ticketing booth and dropping their totes in the Glist waiting for them outside. It was called a death ride because the vehicle used for the ride was a Glist but a smaller version which made it a little bit faster than the normal Glist.
The vehicle was moving at full speed on a track made out of Frith –a very hard and sturdy substance. It was passing through caves and taking a lot of sharp turns. Jake was sitting back in the vehicle with all four seatbelts strapped round his body.
"Cat I really think you should sit properly and use the last seatbelt." Jake shouted to Cat over the whooshing noise around them. She didn't strap one seatbelt round her body so that she could move better.
"What's the need?" Cat shouted back. "If there's any sign of any accidents happening we can easily be teleported out of here."
"Yeah but what if they're not fast enough, what if something slows them down? Did you think about that?"
"Okay fine, if you want me to use it that, much I will." Sitting properly, Cat used the last seatbelt. "Are you happy?"
"I am." Jake shouted. If anything was to happen his body could take the damage and heal itself, that's if the accident didn't kill him first. With how fast the vehicle was moving, if someone was to mistakenly leave his seat, that could be the end of the person.
With the vehicle coming to a stop, Jake and Cat removed their seatbelts. "Why would you choose to go on the death ride?"
"Because it's so much more fun than the other rides." Cat said.
After going around the fun factory and having a great time, Jake and Cat went back to meet the Glist outside the gate.
Now in the Glist heading home, Cat said to Jake while she was laughing "You should have seen your face when we went on that ride with the magic mummies popping out of nowhere."
"I wasn't scared." Jake said.
"No you weren't, but you were like..." Folding her arms, Cat made a straight face. "It was so funny."
"My face was like that because I didn't even want to go on the stupid ride, I wanted to hit that rubber monkey in the face."
Still laughing, Cat asked Jake "What did the monkey do to you?"
"Did you see its face? It was so annoying." Jake said.
"Yeah I can't argue with that, its face was pretty annoying. Thanks for everything today, I really enjoyed it." Cat said.
"Well that was the whole point of the date, and I aim to please."
"I sure was pleased." Moving to Jake, Cat straddled him and kissed him.
Stopping in front of Cat's house, Jake and Cat went down from the Glist and walked to the porch.
"So when's our next date?" Cat asked.
"I don't know, but don't expect it anytime soon. I'm cashless at the moment."
"I was kidding, this date is one of the best I've ever been on."
Rubbing his ears like he didn't hear what Cat just said, Jake asked "Sorry I didn't hear that, can you say it again?"
Laughing, Cat said to him "I said this is one of the best dates I've been on."
"Really? One of the best. Which other date is among the best?" Jake asked.
"I'll tell you about it another day. Goodnight Jake." Cat said then kissed him and was about to go inside her house with the tote in her hand when Jake stopped her.
"Cat hold on." Putting his hand into the tote he was holding, Jake brought out the medium-sized box and gave it to Cat. "A little gift I got for you."
Dropping the tote, Cat took the box from Jake and opened it. Seeing what was inside the box, Cat stared at it with excitement. "Thank you so much Jake, I didn't even know it was already released. How did you know?"
"Through a friend." Jake answered thinking about when he had called Violet again to ask if she could help him with something. 'I gotta go pay her a visit before she leaves for the academy.'
"I have to meet this friend of yours. Thanks again, bye."
"Bye." Going back to the Glist, Jake paid the driver and told him to leave. Walking home with the tote which contained his tuxedo, Jake checked his system screen to see if the training he did with Miss Anna had any effects on his stats.
'It should have increased, at least even if nothing else increases my strength stat should have increased. I did push-ups with Miss Anna on my back along with that stupid machine for hours, that had to do something. Not to talk of when she stood on my right shoulder and told me to walk around with her.'

'My strength increased by two and my endurance by one, looks like my mana has also increased. I expected that, with the amount of time I spend focusing on my flow of magic, my speed, strength and endurance should also increase soon. I think I should use my stat points, I don't need them for now and I want to get as strong as possible.'
With his two stat points, Jake increased his health points and the strength of his magic. 'I need my magic to be strong too and increasing my health points increased the number of times I can heal during a fight.'

Finally reaching his house, Jake sat down on the chair in the porch and thought about how his day went. He had spent a huge amount of credits and now his account was basically empty, but spending the night with Cat was worth every single credit he spent.
'I just hope I don't stay broke for long. Maybe I can ask Dad to send me my allowance earlier than usual, just so I have some credits I can spend.'

"Wow! He got you this?" Cassie asked, sitting with Cat in her room and holding the newest handbag in Ansteria. It had magical dimensional storage so you could put different things in it without feeling the weight but it had a limit.
"Yes." Cat answered. "I've been waiting for this to be released for a while, I was so excited when I saw it in the box."
"You're lucky, Jake seems like a good guy."
"He is the best, but now he's broke. He spent a lot of credits on our date."
"Being broke for love, that's a guy other boys should look up to." Cassie said.
