Nori Kibe a high-school student from Sawa High School, is known for being a pretty ordinary boy and isn't seen as all too special by others. However he soon begins to prove them wrong as situations pop up in his life, until eventually something unthinkable happens and causes him to use his high intellect to figure out whats really going on.

There is a disease running through the world. They call it the rot. A world were people can get stronger by simply getting sicker. A dystopian future, a dilapidated wasteland, and many more things. A slow start which gains momentum. A mysterious background, a world of deities and contracts, of crazed animalistic monsters infested by the same rot. The only salvation known to Konrad are the facilities, run by the Church Lords. Him, entering a world of rot, deities of bygone eras and forbidden knowledge. A harrowing tale unfolds, with he who never knew anything but the Doctrine faces a world of terror. Will he survive and perhaps thrive? Where it came from, or where it would go—these remain a mystery. And albeit an issue, it was much easier for the people of the earth to submit to the fear, rather than attempt to conquer whatever terrifying thing lay on the other side - they knew its futility. Some would yell, some would cry - all would pray to the earth beneath them, and the heavens above them. A deity would listen, heed their words. Who was it that heard them?

She accepted and Veron's expression died. However, Gerrard burst out laughing. "Oh, this is perfect," Gerrard commented, enjoying himself. "You are a man," Veron repeated. "Yes, I am." Karina nodded her head. "Take off your shirt." "WHAT!" Karina exclaimed in shock and unconsciously clutched the front of her shirt. What has come over him? Didn't he just say he doesn't find men attractive? Why the hell was he saying she should take off her shirt? "If you are a man as you claim, you shouldn't have a problem standing before me without a shirt on." Veron pointed out, standing in that same spot and keeping his eyes on her. As much as he found this funny, he refused to join Gerrard in laughing to his heart's content. Hearing what he just said, Karina realized he was right. Men had no problem undressing before their fellow men, just as she had no problem undressing before Nori. Karina frowned and quickly thought of a way out, seeing he was indeed waiting for her to undress. "I am a different kind of man." She blurted, and Gerrard laughed even harder than he did the first time, rolling his body on the floor. "Oh, goddess… This is classic." Gerrard said amidst his laughter. He couldn't remember when last he heard anything as funny as what he just heard. "A different kind of man?" Veron asked and when she nodded, he added another question. "When did that specie come into existence?" "Today?"
