Half way into the meal, The Butler announced to them that they had extra guests who were waiting in the sitting room. Mr. Lewis asked who it was and he was told it was Skye and her Father. Mr. Lewis asked the butler to bring them to the hall to dine with them.
"Skye are you sure that Jason's father owns this place" Mr. Adams asked Skye looking at his surroundings in surprise.
"Of course Dad, this is not the time to joke around" Skye replied.
"Sir, Ma'am, I was asked to bring you to them" The Butler said and they stood up to follow him.
The door was opened for Mr. Adams and Skye and they both walked into the hall.
"Oh, Lucian, please join us" Mr. Lewis called to him as they both stood by the door.
"And you too Skye" He added.
They both took their seats and plates were placed before them.
"Help yourself to anything please" Mrs Lewis told them.
They all had their meal silently but deep down Mr. Adams mind, he wasn't interested in the meal. It was after he started eating he noticed he was actually hungry. He was there because of his falling business and he knew at that moment, Only Xavier Lewis can help him. Everyone noticed how uneasy he felt and Mr. Lewis knew he was only there for his company but didn't know exactly what he wanted to talk to him about.
Mr. Lewis couldn't help it again as he watch him eat with uneasiness. He excused himself from the guests and told them to have a good time with his wife and the kids while he quickly attend to Mr. Adams.
"I'll like it if Jason come with us" Mr. Adams said to Mr. Lewis who was about to leave the hall.
"Oh, Okay" He replied then called Jason to follow them out. Mr. Lewis thought this was about Jason's and Skye's past relationship but Jason thought Mr. Adams want him to plead to his father to help him on his behalf. They both wait eagerly for Mr. Adams to spill whatever he has to say. They walked into Mr. Lewis Study and Mr. Lewis asked him what the matter was.
"I'm here to retrieve the money I've been sending you" Mr. Adams said.
"What!" Mr. Lewis and Jason both exclaimed.
""Well...I heard you're rich now, so I want my money back" Mr. Adams repeated.
"Please can you explain what you just said for better understanding" Jason said to Lucian Adams.
"Really now, you want me to explain. I heard you lost some of your memories, did you also lost the part where we were signing an agreement" Lucian said.
"What do you mean" Jason asked looking confused.
"You can't say that to my son Lucian" Mr. Lewis yelled at Mr. Adams.
"Why, because you're rich now don't forget I brought you to this position" Mr. Adams said pushing Mr. Lewis chest with a finger.
"You didn't do it for nothing you know, you sold your daughter's right. You made that agreement yourself and you even threatened my son to sign it, now you want the money back huh!, I can sue you for breach of agreement, you should be aware of that" Mr. Lewis said.
"What's all this about Dad" Jason asked looking more confused.
"Don't say anything Jason and don't ask me anymore questions, it's not for me to answer" He said to Jason then faced Lucian and continued "Now look here Lucian, In here is all the money you've been sending. You remembered how you sent the money right, your agreement was you'll send five hundred million dollars monthly but you sent it only six times in a year and you did that for four years. So the money you gave us all together is Twelve billion dollars" Mr. Lewis said pointing at a door in his study.
"I already gave you that much" Lucian said opening his mouth in shock.
"You didn't give us, you paid us" Mr. Lewis replied.
"Now let's talk about Skye, I was going to make Jason return the money and start over with Skye but its too bad he lost his memory of her. She's nothing more than a secretary to him now" Mr. Lewis Continued.
"So instead of returning this money I'll use it buy your group, isn't it good".
"What, so what I heard is true" Lucian said.
"I don't know what you've heard but it's true, I'm buying Adams group, I know you're here for the money because of your situation but I won't let you get out of it easily" Mr Lewis replied.
"You can't do that".
"Of course I can, I'm way richer than you are, I can buy you
with my money, do you remember how you treated us the day you came to our house back then, I might have Decided to help you now if you weren't so rude then" Xavier said.
"Xavier you can't do this, I'll cancel the agreement and Jason can be with Skye. please can I have my money back" Lucian said.
"That's not for you to decide anymore, even if you cancel the agreement the money is still your payment for our service so you can't get it back" Mr Lewis said and wanted to start walking out of the study.
"Will you please start leaving or you want to be sued for breach of agreement, you know how much you're still owing me right. You're still owing me a total of twelve billion dollars, to make up for the remaining six months you missed and for four years at that. I'm sure you don't have that much to spare so it won't be nice to have our next meeting in the court, Please leave my house" Xavier said then walked out of the study, banging the door behind him angrily.
"Jason talk to your father on my behalf, I really need that money" Lucian said going down on his knees to beg Jason.
"That's between you and my dad, I don't think I want to get involved" Jason said also walking out of the study looking very confused and lost. He looked like he was kept in the dark about something he was supposed to know as he couldn't understand anything they were saying.
Lucian Adams was dragged out of the house, Jason and Xavier went back to the hall to meet the rest of them. Xavier acted like nothing serious had happened but the look on Jason's face was enough to know something just went wrong.
Skye looked at him and noticed the confusing and worried look on his face and asked him what had happened but he had nothing to say as there was so much going on in his mind.
