Stepping through the portal, the fighters were transported to an otherworldly realm. They were in a sacred cave, shrouded in secrecy and moisture. Inside, stone pillars rose tall. There was no way to know how far up the pillars went because there was no roof to be seen. The cave had an ominous greenish hue to it. This was due to the countless green crystals, known as Energy cores, scattered throughout the cave.
There are three types of energy cores: the green(basic), the orange(special) and the purple(premium). These Energy cores held immense power, serving not only as a source of energy for daily appliances but also as catalysts for the fighters' training and meditation.
Luckily, the fact that there were only basic tier cores meant that the spirits and beasts they might encounter here will not be strong because the quality of the cores determine the strength of the monsters they see.
Eventually, the trio stood at a crossroads in the mystical realm, their brows furrowed in confusion as they deliberated on which path to take. The ethereal spirits flitted around them, their presence both elusive and wary. Takeshi, ever resourceful, engaged in conversation with the minor spirits, hoping to gain some much-needed guidance.
"Excuse me," Takeshi called out to a passing spirit. "Can you help us find the spirits we seek?"
The spirit halted in mid-flight, its translucent form trembling with apprehension. "Humans… we fear and loathe your kind," it hissed, its voice carrying a mixture of fear and disdain.
Takeshi sighed, realizing that their reputation as humans was not helping their cause. He glanced back at Kai and Luna, sharing a knowing look. It seemed they would have to find their own way in this perplexing realm.
After a few more hours of fruitless conversations with spirits, Takeshi came to a decision:
"I need some quiet to concentrate," Takeshi announced, settling himself on the ground in a meditative posture. Closing his eyes, he allowed his senses to expand, seeking the subtle threads of spiritual energy that resonated with the spirits they sought.
Meanwhile, Kai and Luna observed Takeshi's meditative state, unsure of how they could assist in this particular task. Kai scratched his head, breaking the silence. "Well, I guess we should keep an eye out for any signs or strange occurrences while Takeshi does his thing."
Luna nodded, her gaze sweeping the surrounding landscape. "Right. Let's stay on guard and be ready to fend off any unexpected threats."
As Takeshi delved deeper into his meditative state, his senses sharpened, attuned to the spiritual energy that permeated the realm. Gradually, he began to detect faint echoes and whispers, fragments of guidance hidden within the ethereal currents.
Meanwhile, Kai and Luna kept a watchful eye, their weapons at the ready. Suddenly, shadowy figures emerged from the depths of the realm.
It was the vexed.
