"You once told me about your mother's partner, the one that disappeared," he said after a while.
"Yes, what about him?" Lisa asked.
"Have you ever thought about looking for him to check whether he might be dead or alive,"
"No, not yet,"
"What if he is your real father?" Lisa immediately looked at him. She had already considered this possibility a couple of times but looking for someone who she didn't even know was nothing more than hard work and a chance of finding him was near to zero.
"I have, but I prefer to let it be if one day we happen to cross paths I would love to investigate as for now, there is nothing I can do," she sighed. She already had a lot on her plate at the moment. The past week had been hectic for her from being kidnapped to this.
