Izuku hardly spoke on the way there, seeming cold but the poor boy was panicking on the inside. Hoping that he won't have to suffer from the commission anymore. What was 20 minutes felt like hours to the young boy. Aizawa seemed to look back at the boy ever so often.
The black-haired male has been looking for him since he left the first time they met regretting ever letting the boy go. He searched everywhere to be able to get him out of the commission to the point he agreed with nezu to get the kid out if he worked as a teacher. He doesn't regret anything but not fighting harder for the boy. He clutched the wheel when he was driving. It seemed that finally saving the boy was a dream.
Denki was curious about how izuku was acting because to the blond izuku he seemed to have a tough personality but never exactly quiet. Izuku was known in a lot of units for being strong but when he's off on a tangent of something he mumbles and doesn't realize he's even speaking. But the boy was now silent, not even emitting a single word. The blond wondered if that man had something to do with it. He knew izuku often looked at things related to the hero, and how the raven-haired man saved the green bean but he doesn't know why his friend would go quiet.
By the time they finally got to the house the two quiet people swiftly got out of the car. Denki shook his head and said "you two need to chill it's not like you don't know each other" izuku slightly flinched and looked down, almost embarrassed at how he was acting. Aizawa wasn't much different not that anyone would know because he kept a straight face. Nezu clapped his hands again "yes the young boy is quiet right now let's head into the house!" Aizawa nodded and went to walk to the house well. When they all made it into the apartment it seemed quite fitting for the tired hero, the bare minimum and the walls seemed to be all grayscale.
"You both have a room down the hall, the basics are already there and later in the week we'll go shopping for clothing and other necessities that you want to have," Aizawa said in a tired tone. Both the boys nodded, only Denki made a verbal response "okay!" nezu said "ah yes since you two are going as students in my school please don't act like you did with the heroes commission! You two are now out of there no need to act as if you still belong there" Aizawa put his input into the conversation "that includes here there is no reason for you to feel as if you are still there. You are only students of UA now, not some weapon for war. You are kids and no reason for you to feel like you have to be on alert for everything. You are safe. That I know."
"Well, it seems I'm not needed now so I will just head back to UA! I hope you two settle well!" Nezu was now off on his way. How will he get back? None of them know. Izuku looked up with not a stoic face but one that seemed to want to say something. Aizawa spoke first "I kept my promise, didn't I? I'm glad you are safe izuku" izuku balled his fists and nodded, not trusting his voice. The once seeming strong boy now fights back tears. He was quickly scooped up into a hug by the older man. Izuku was surprised at first but quickly hugged back tears falling for the first time in years. Denki saw this and felt happy for the boy knowing how hard he has had it, but now they are free from the people who hurt them. Denki began to shed some tears "we are f-free like really?" the blond choked out. "Yes you are free from them" Aizawa pulled the other boy into his embrace as the two kids cried and Aizawa comforted them.
It seemed as if hours have gone by and the two kids finally started to calm down izuku seemed to slowly get drowsy from the amount of energy he has used. Without warning, someone busted through the door spooking the boys. The man said "shota you here?!" the man had his quirk activated hurting izukus hears making his wings flare up in defense to make him seem bigger. Aizawa looked at his husband in anger using his quirk to deactivate his husband's quirk "sorry sorry forgot I was excited are these the boys?! Wow the green bean looks the same as he did back then!" izuku quickly realized who it was, it was Yamada Hizashi, the other one who saved him back then. His wings slowly went back to normal. "Yes, Hizashi they are the ones that I told you about but be quieter!"
Hizashi nodded and said out loud without thinking "you know what you kinda remind me of hawks, little listener! You have close to the same quirk as him!" izuku jumped slightly compared to his brother. Denki looked away as if he heard nothing. Aizawa saw the reaction and was curious "do you have a connection to hawks?" izuku looked away and Denki had a smirk chirping up "he's his brother! Also acts like mine! Though we can't see him much anymore due to his hero work. He was raised with us!" both the heroes in the room looked surprised.'' He's not my biological brother, he's just like a brother to me." Izuku seemed slightly embarrassed. "So I should expect the hero near when he has off alright that will be interesting. I'm surprised he would see you more probably the commissions fault because the hero seems too laidback and not a 'will not see family bc of work' kind of person so your brother will probably visit once he knows your not there anymore" Hizashi noted the boys seem to look up quickly almost hoping to see the hero again.
Aizawa patted their heads and said "well you guys should head to bed soon you are probably both tired it's been a long day we will talk more tomorrow" the two boys nodded and headed off to their rooms. It's been a long day for everyone and the two adults are just glad they finally got the boy out of the hands of the heroes commission. "What if they try to take back the kids, what if we never got them out of the grasp of the heroes commission," Aizawa said worried for the kids. "Sho they are fine they are here let's head to bed ourselves alright?" his husband said Aizawa only responded with a nod and headed to their room.
