Chapter 59 - Second-Hand Embarrassment

Standing at the end of the childhood aisle, I felt intense emotions, like starting a new chapter in a book but not knowing what was coming next. 

'It was time to proceed to the middle school section,' I told myself, sounding hopeful as I looked straight at the hall ahead. 'The next chapter of my life.'

And with that, I took a step, and at last, I found myself standing in the Middle School aisle.

'Well, that was anti-climatic.' I shook my head, laughing at the naivety of my own thoughts. 'It's rather stupid of me to think that something big would happen just because I took another step forward.'

Anyway, I began scanning my surroundings and noticed that the motif of the memory jars in this section was notably different from the first half of the childhood aisle but was borderline almost the same in the latter section.
