"It's a miracle."
"Truly, our supreme Gods are with us."
"Now, we are saved."
"Our Gods' protection is with us."
"It's the Hero! He has come to save us all."
As Kelly heard those jubilant voices, filled with a mixture of relief and hope, he slowly opened his eyes from his slumber. Before him stood his classmates, already on their feet, surveying their surroundings with a mix of awe and confusion. As he rose to his feet, Kelly took in the sight that unfolded before him—a vast hall stretching into the distance, filled with thousands of people clad in white robes.
The air was thick with emotions as the crowd alternated between tearful prayers, joyous cheers, and overwhelmed silence. Amidst the sea of humanity, Kelly noticed individuals who were gasping for breath, their faces drained of color, and others who lay motionless, their stillness a stark contrast to the chaotic atmosphere. His classmates mirrored his perplexed expression, unable to comprehend the magnitude of the situation.
"Finally, you have come, Ohh messengers of the Gods," a voice reverberated through the hall,
Amongst the cacophony of voices, one resonated with crystal clarity, cutting through the noise. As the hall fell into a hushed silence, Kelly turned his gaze toward the source. There stood an elderly man in his late fifties, adorned in attire that surpassed the others in grandeur. His white robe boasted intricate gold embroidery, and his fingers gleamed with rings. A crimson necklace adorned his neck, while his face was heavily adorned with thick makeup, creating an obnoxious appearance.
With measured steps, the man advanced toward Kelly, who couldn't shake off the intense unease that accompanied his piercing gaze. Yet, the people scattered around them looked upon the man with eyes shimmering with adoration. Ignoring the individuals visibly struggling and those who lay still, the man reached their location in a remarkably short span of time. He cast a bewildered glance at the group, seemingly grappling with the unfolding events.
Letting out a sigh, his gaze swept over each person until it locked onto Agawa. The man's face contorted in shock, transforming into an expression of ecstatic jubilation. His voice thundered through the hall, carrying a mix of awe and reverence.
"Welcome, oh great Hero, to our world!"
'To our world', 'to our world', 'to our world', those words echoed relentlessly in Kelly's mind, refusing to be ignored. He desperately searched for alternative explanations, grasping at any shred of hope that this was all some elaborate prank or a hidden camera show. as he tried to piece together everything that just happened, and the only possibility that came to his mind, he didn't want to believe It, he looked for other answers but nothing came to mind as if trying to deny the reality in front of him, Kelly madly started screaming as, if he lost his mind.
"NO NO NOO NOOOOOO NOOOOO, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, YOU MUST BE RIGHT, WHERE ARE THE CAMERAS, COME OUT DON'T FUCKKK WITH ME"
Drowning out the delighted voices of the surroundings, Kelly's shrieks reverberated throughout the hall. But no one came forward, and his cries only reverberated within the vast hall, swallowed by an eerie silence that hung in the air.
"YOU ARE FUCKING KIDDING RIGHT COME OUT RIGHT NOW WHOEVER IS THE DIRECTOR OF THIS MAD SHOW, I SWEAR TO GOD COME OUT RIGHT NOW OR YOU ARE GONNA REGRET IT"
"...…."
"...….."
Kelly's furious outburst echoed through the hall, leaving everyone present frozen and speechless. His classmates, snapping out of their daze, shared the same bewildered expressions, their thoughts aligning with his own. Meanwhile, the old man, momentarily disrupted by the commotion, furrowed his brows before swiftly regaining composure and adopting a calming tone.
"Please, calm down, great HERO's companion. I understand your confusion. Let us find a more private setting to discuss this matter with greater clarity."
As Kelly was about to retaliate against him someone gently tugged on his sleeves interrupting his anger. As, Kelly looked back, he found Sumire on the verge of tears unable to say anything, he could see she was in dire state.
'What are you doing, you asshole? You can't let your anger consume you like this. Take a deep breath, calm yourself down. This isn't the time to lose control. Set aside your frustration and find a way to handle this situation with composure and clarity ok deep breaths… deep breaths…'
After taking several deep breaths to regain his composure, Kelly tightly held onto Sumire's hand. Although his mind was still racing, he made a conscious effort to think more carefully and rationally. However, he realized that he was still far from calm enough to engage in a coherent conversation. The same held true for his fellow classmates, some of whom were on the brink of fainting. Taking note of that, Agawa stepped forward as their representative and responded to the old man.
"Thank you for the suggestion. We are willing to accept your offer. Please lead the way, and we will follow you."
"Then please follow me"
As soon as the old man heard Agawa's response, a smile spread across his face. With a sense of relief, they all began to follow him, walking in silence. The weight of the situation hung heavily upon each of them, and there was a collective need to process and make sense of their new reality. In this moment of uncertainty, they found solace in Agawa's presence, unanimously acknowledging him as their leader. Step by step, they continued forward, their minds filled with questions and apprehension.
