"Mom, Please! Open the gate. It's too early for this." Tiara threw her body on the gate, hugging the frame of the gate. "You can be such a disappointment to us sometimes." The old lady said in sorrow, disappointment was filled in her voice. "Mooommmm, You can't do this to your own daughter. What will people think?" She tried to scare her mother with the world's assumptions and accusations. "Did you think about it when you stayed out the whole night?" Her mother scoffed at her. "Mom, Do you want to announce it to the world that your daughter wasn't home for a night? I don't think you want that, right? You should take me in if you don't want that." She tried to manipulate her mother into thinking it was better to open the gate for her.
"Don't take yourself as a clever person, Child. I know you very well to know what exactly you are trying to do here." Her mother said in a soft yet threatening tone to scare the little girl off. Tiara didn't say anything because she didn't have any comeback left anymore. "Ugh, Come in!" The old lady accepted defeat after seeing her daughter's dull and sad face. Tiara's lips edge curled a little for a few seconds which disappeared like the smirk never was there.
She shamelessly entered the house and threw herself on the bed to relax. 'I am too tired to think about manners right now. But the truth is… I have a big decision to make right now. A decision that will choose my faith, destination, path, and lifestyle. In short a life-changing decision. A decision to choose if I will stumble and fall or pave my way to success.' She closed her eyes slowly to let her mind relax to make her brain function properly. "Get up and take a shower!" Her mother yelled at her to order her.
"I am tired, Mom. Just give me a few minutes." She requested the old lady in a defeated voice and turned her body in another direction to find the comfort that she was seeking. "Ugh, I am done with this girl!!" The old lady scoffed and went to the kitchen. 'What should I do? Should I accept their offer? It's a wonderful offer though but still, I wouldn't be able to meet my family let alone live with them.' She took a deep breath in frustration. 'Ughh, Why it's so hard!!' She turned to another side again and she drifted into sleep with the worries she had in her mind.
"Wake up and eat something!" Her mother disturbed her peaceful sleep to make her eat something. "Do you want to get skinner than you already are?" Her mother commented on her thin small figure. "Ughh!!" Tiara sighed at her comment which was too old by now and took the food plate from the old lady's hand and started to eat without saying a word as lots of things were going on inside her mind. The old lady didn't say anything as she understood what was wrong with her daughter and took a seat beside her slowly and silently to talk to her daughter.
"So, What did you decide?" The old lady in the room broke the silence between them and questioned Tiara. "Uhm, I am still thinking about what to do with this opportunity. It's hard to choose. What should I do? It's like half of me wants to accept this offer and half of me wants to stay here and live a normal life with you all, here." She told her mother the reason behind her confusion and struggle to make the right decision. The old lady nodded her head a little like she understood what was her daughter going through.
"You are the one who will make the right decision because it's your life and you have the full right to choose what is right for you. You know? I wanted to continue my studies and become someone who would be in a higher position but my brother stopped me after I completed my college from going further with my studies. Only my father took a stand for me but that went in vain as my brother was stubborn and had an old mindset that's why I don't want my children to go through the same thing as me. I want you to have everything in your life. So, Don't let your family stop you from going forward because if you want to stay back and spend your time with your family which will result in staying away from a big opportunity then don't stay back." Her mother started to lecture her sharing her own experience of life, She truly wanted Tiara to choose the correct option as she was a mother. "But I don't want to live without you. What will it be like?" Tiara was full of worries and asked with a furry. "No, You are just trying to hide your fear behind this reason, don't you?" The old lady caught her daughter red-handed. "N-no… A fear? O-of what?" Tiara questioned her, stuttering. "Of being a failure. To disappoint the ones who chose you. Of a new place, people, and language which will be out of your comfort zone. You are trying to mask your fear in the name of your family. Aren't you?" Her mother knew Tiara very well to know that she was one of those who like to be in their comfort zone and is always scared to come out of their little shelf which they created around themselves.
"N-no, It's not like that…And even if I am… I don't think that I am worried for a wrong thing." Tiara spit out the facts. Of course, Anyone will think a thousand times before changing their lives entirely. "Yes, It's okay to fear things, My child. But stopping yourself from the big opportunities because of those fears and worries is wrong." The mother advised her like a life teacher she was. "Y-yeah…" The little girl agreed and shoved another bite of food in her mouth. 'Should I?' She was 89% sure what she wanted at this point.
'Mom is right. I am scared to take a step forward because I am afraid that I won't be able to balance and fall, that too without any safety. I am making an excuse to hide my fear. I shouldn't be scared of something that can change my life for the better.' She was lost in her thoughts about making a big decision for her life that she didn't notice her mother leaving her room silently. 'Hmm… I can't decide it. I am going to spin a wheel to decide if I should accept this offer or not.' She let a spin wheel decide her faith to shrug the burden off of her shoulder.
She finished her breakfast and grabbed her phone to open a site for the spinning wheel to choose her destiny. 'Accept.' 'Don't' "Accept' 'Don't' 'Accept' 'Don't'. She put 6 options on the wheel and then spun the wheel by tapping on the screen. The wheel started to spin fast and slowly started to stop by making its pace slower. 'Accept' The word popped on the screen with the large size and confetti spread all over the screen, revealing the word in a party manner. 'Accept?' She raised an eyebrow at her phone in confusion. 'Looks like I now know what my destiny is. Plus, They aren't bad to have around.' Tiara sighed at her luck as somewhere deep down, she wished that the answer would be 'Don't' just so she could blame the spin wheel for her choice.
'It was all settled after all. My meeting with them, apocalypse, them visiting my country for the first time and meeting me again, and then offering me an offer or Me, signing a contract just before meeting them just so they can cancel it with a huge compensation. It is all planned by you, isn't it?' She glared at the roof as if she was talking to the god directly who wrote her destiny and the events that took place with her in her lifetime.
'So, This is it. I am going." A heavy warm breath came out of Tiara's mouth as she grabbed the empty breakfast plate and stood up to help her mom with the chores.
Time: 01:24 p.m.
Tiara was resting on her bed after doing the home chores with her mother, nothing was going inside her little brain as it was numb, numb with a lot of feelings that were normal after taking such a big decision just by some online spin wheel. The door of her room slowly opened but she didn't even move a little to see who it was because she knew who it could be by the soft sound of foot and the way of opening the door.
The person who just entered didn't say anything but just looked at her laying on the bed like a dead body. "What did you decide?" The mother asked in a soft and low voice, filled with concern. "I…am going." She said hesitantly, having second thoughts in her mind. "I hope you chose the right option, Tiara. I won't stop you nor let anyone stop you from your choices." The old lady announced and hugged her only daughter. Tears escaped her eyes as soon as she hugged Tiara tightly, a mother can't stop her emotions and can't dare to get in the way of her children's success even when it means she will need to bear the pain of staying away from her children. Tiara wasn't a perfect daughter but a mother's worry is a genuine feeling that no one can deny. Tiara didn't hear any sobs nor saw any tears coming from her mother's eyes but she knew that her mother was crying, not because of her decision but because of the separation they would have to bear.
Tiara took a shower and came out of her bathroom with a fresh look, She looked around to find her phone which was on charging. 'Let's get it done.' She thought and started moving her legs towards the phone. She picked the small device from its spot and started to look for something in it and then she placed the device near her ear.
The men were done with their breakfast after waking up. "Are you sure, she told you that she will call me at my number?" Vin asked JJ in his mother language, curiously as he always informed all of them about the conversation that JJ and Tiara had before she took her leave. "Yes, She has your number." JJ nodded and replied to him. "What if she doesn't call?" Joy questioned a possibility that made everyone look at him with an unpleasant expression.
"Should I call her myself? I have her number as well." Vin hurriedly asked in a desperate tone, scared by Joy's question. "No, Give her a space to think about it. We all would want her to accept our offer confidently without having a doubt, right? And for that, we will need to give her time to think." KR scoffed at his team members and stopped them before they could take any stupid step. "But I think we should remind her to think about it. What if she forgot?" Joy suggested and supported Vin's thought of calling her. "I don't think that's needed. Knowing her, She probably is thinking about it continuously." Sam presented his thoughts and glared at the younger members to stop the conversation of calling her to disturb which will indicate that they are forcing her to accept their offer.
"Bu-" JJ was going to say something but KR stopped him. "No, Buts. We al-" KR was about to start a lecture but Vin's phone started to ring. He grabbed it in an instant to look at the caller id, he was too stunned to react after knowing that Tiara was calling him. He was excited and afraid at the same time. Excited, because she may be calling him to say yes. Afraid, because she could say no. JJ and Sam peeked on her phone from the side like children. "It's her." Sam chirped, surprised. Everyone straightened their posture which made it too obvious that they were in a tough position, the tension grew inside them instantly.
Vin picked up her call without any delay and brought the phone near his ear. "Put it on speaker." Joy ordered Vin in a low voice. Vin pulled his phone away from his ear and put the call on speaker obeying Joy's command. "Hello?" Vin called out to her because he didn't hear anything from her side. "Vin?" She skipped her greetings and the small talk as usual, Vin hardly recognized her voice as he was hearing her voice through the call for the first time. Her voice sounded a little different than it actually was, a little bit more pitched than reality.
"Yes." Vin replied to her but there was a nervousness inside him which was growing by seconds. "I…" She stopped before she could finish her sentence to think about her decision again, giving everyone else a stress causing their throats to dry. She sighed heavily. "I-I accept." She declared her decision to her with hesitation. "Huh?" Vin was too confused as he couldn't process her words in his brain. "I accept your offer. Send me the address and time to meet you all before I change my mind." She said in a low voice because she was too shy and awkward to accept their offer too straightly as she never was the one who takes help from anyone and then cut the call immediately, not wanting to hear after she accepted their offer.
TR-X was confused but happy at the same moment, It took them a minute to realize what she said as it happened just in a few seconds. "Did she just-" Vin said in Korean with a shocked expression, processing her words in his brain. "Yes, s-she ag-agreed…" JJ heard her loud and clear but was in doubt by her sudden action of disconnecting the call. "Yes." said KR, who was stunned by the recent call as well and couldn't believe her decision. "Wow, Isn't that great then? But why aren't you guys happy about it?" Joy pointed out their stunned reactions rather than being happy. Everyone got dragged into reality and realized that what they heard was correct and not the illusion they imagined.
Their reaction turned into one of a happy reaction as soon as they did the reality check. "Oh my god, She said yes!!" Vin cheered in excitement, trying himself back from screaming his lungs out because of the excitement inside him. "Wow, That was unexpected!" Sam cheered and dragged Vin and Joy towards him with both of his arms to celebrate her decision. "Uhm, I know you all are happy with her decision but it doesn't mean we have time to celebrate it. We have to make arrangements for her before our departure." KR gathered their attention and stopped them from getting lost in celebration as there was a lot they should prepare to add a new member to their team.
"Oh yes, We will have to book a room in the same hotel in all the places we are going to stay in." Sam pointed out and counted one of the work they will have to do. "We don't have to worry about booking a flight for her. She can travel with us in our private jet." Vin said proudly and looked at others to get their acceptance on the matter because if they disagreed with his idea then she would need to travel with the other staff in a public aircraft. "That will be better because we wouldn't need to find an available seat in the same aircraft as our staff." KR agreed with Vin's suggestion while others nodded.
"Text her to meet us here." JJ told Vin to text Tiara to come to their hotel so they could leave together for the airport. "But what if people hate her even more after knowing that we chose her to be our new manager?" Sam slammed a possibility on their face which could be true which made everyone go silent in the room. "We- We will introduce her as our manager when we reach Korea again." Vin said after thinking about the possibilities that could happen to her while they were on their trip. "We will make them believe that she deserves to be our manager more than anyone else. We have to." said KR, trying to clear the thick air in the room due to the tension growing inside them.
"It is true. she deserves to be our manager more than anyone else. We are alive just because of her, We listen to her, She can manage everything in any situation, She is strong, brave, intelligent, and everything which can be perfect for anything! Anyone will believe it without even trying because it is true. We listened to her because she earned our trust for everything she did for us in Aglos. She is a good person and we all know it." JJ burst out after hearing Sam and KR and yelled at them after realizing how much hate Tiara may get after they announced her as their manager.
They all knew that the world would accuse her of taking advantage of them because of what she did for them in Aglos but the world didn't know that they were the ones who came to India for her and who gave her the offer of being their manager. People always like to spoil things they can't get or accuse someone without thinking twice. The world is cruel to everyone even if it's a hero or a villain himself, but the harsh truth is that people make this world cruel, the world is from people, not the other way around. People who deny the truth that they can be someone's reason to die or someone's reason for suffering.
"We will handle everything which is yet to come. We shouldn't think of the worst possibilities. For now, We should focus on Tiara who is going to join our group and come with us to Korea after this trip is over." Vin spoke like a gentleman after they all were shocked by JJ's speech as he was one of those people who don't like to speak too much let alone give a speech like a president of the country. He never spoke of someone else highly as he was always perfect in everything that they could name and it was the first time he spoke of someone like the way he did for Tiara.
They went to their rooms to pack their things while Vin texted Tiara to meet them at the hotel. 'Hey, Meet us at the hotel at 7.' Tiara received his message but she didn't reply to him anything. She looked a little upper to find her mother looking back at her. "Is your decision final?" The old lady asked her with concern, deeply requesting her to stay back. "Yes, mom. How many times are you going to ask?" Tiara asked in a bit of frustration. "I don't want you to have any regret afterward." Her mother said hesitantly. "I am never regretful of my decisions." Tiara said proudly, without any hesitation in her tone or her face. She was determined and confident with her choice which she didn't even make herself but by some random online spin wheel.
'I am going and that's final. I know the path won't be easy but I think the path is already made for me and I am supposed to walk on it. There won't be anything to regret because everything happens for a reason and I still believe in God even when they kicked me out of heaven.' She took a deep breath and stood up to pack her things and get ready for her new journey which was waiting for her.
