Everyone got away from the door. They weren't in their senses but Tiara was worried about what will happen now. Suddenly, She remember Kaashi and started dialing her number but it was switched off. She got worried but there were two possibilities that she either turned into a zombie or she caught her flight without Tiara. Looking at Tiara, Vin remembered too that his parents were in the same building as them because they came to their concert and then he looked at Sam and K.R. whose parents were there too.
Vin's voice stuck to his throat unable to come out and his expressions were screaming horror, worry, and terror but they couldn't put a finger on what he was trying to tell them because their mind was all over the place but then it hit them. Their eyes got wider in realization.
"Our parents!" San and K.R. said in a loud voice. "Can you talk in a low voice?" Tiara scolded them. "But- our mother and father…" Vin tried to say but he stopped because of his bad English. "Your parents are here too?" Tiara asked them knitting her eyebrows. "Yes, I think they are in the next room" K.R. was scared for his parents. "You should call your parents." Tiara suggested them. "Right!" He hurriedly pulled his phone out of his pants and dialed their number.
There was a deep silence for a few seconds as the dialing ring came out of the phone. Finally, They answered the call. "Annyeong?" - "Hello?" A voice came out of the phone. They all took a deep breath out of relief. He put the call on speaker.
They started talking in Korean. "Are you okay? Is Tae-hee and Sam-son's parents with you?" K.R. asked with a lot of worry in his voice. "Yes, We all are scared after whatever we saw outside. We were going to call you but you called yourself." His mother's voice came through the call. Vin ran his hand through his hair and sighed, Tiara got an idea that their parents are safe by their reaction. "Ask them where are they" Tiara whispered and he nodded. "Where are you?" K.R. asked them. "I think the next room to yours." His mother answered him. "Are Tae-hee and Sam-son okay?" His father asked him. "Yes, They are with me and listening to you." He answered him.
"Where are they?" Tiara asked him whispering. "Next room" K.R. whispered back. "Cut the call." Tiara said. "Why?" Sam asked her in confusion but K.R. cut the call because he didn't want his parents to listen to their fight. "Because… I think we should get them here with us in the same room." Tiara spoke her mind. "Why?" Vin raised her eyebrow at her. "Because it will be safer. I have seen in zombie movies that… all the people should stay together." Her English trembled giving a hint that she wasn't fluent in English as much as they thought. K.R. translated it to everyone and then said. "I agree with her because staying together will mean we are strong but how will they come here?" K.R. agreed with it but had doubts.
"One or two of us should go and get them." Tiara suggested and everyone got shocked. "Are you crazy?" J.J. looked at her. "I-I just feel like it will be okay. I mean I don't think anything will go wrong…" Tiara hesitantly said. "But there are zombies outside." K.R. was freaked out too but trying to control himself.
"You wanna die in this room while doing nothing?" She asked sarcastically. "I- will… go." Everyone looked at the man who just said those 3 words and Tiara's jaw dropped while everyone looked at him with kind of the same expression as her.
"naneun yeogi anj-aseo amugeosdo haji anhgo sipji anh-eumyeo amu ildo il-eonaji anh-eul geos-ilaneun geunyeoui mal-eul midseubnida." - 'I don't want to sit here doing nothing and I trust her words that nothing wrong will happen.' Vin talked to his friends in Korean that Tiara couldn't understand but then he looked at her and said. "I trust you and your… believe." He said stuttering. Tiara's lip parted and looked at him with a senseless face.
No one else said anything and he looked at everyone and started going towards the door. "Wait!" Everyone was looking at Vin but their eyes drifted to Tiara who just stopped Vin. He turned back and Tiara started to come near him and handed the wooden rod to him and said.
"I'm coming with you." She gave him a smile that didn't reach her eye but she was thanking him to trust her with her smile. She moved past him and grabbed another one of the wooden rods beside the door. "Shall we go now?" She asked innocently. Everyone was shocked by her action because just a few minutes ago she was shivering from the fear but now, she was ready to go out there.
Vin's eye screamed 'Are you sure?' 'Do you want to do this?' 'Why?' There was a storm in his eyes but Tiara just smiled and blinked her eye slowly while nodding her head slightly letting him know that she was ready. He came near her looking straight into her eye trying to find fear or hesitation there but couldn't.
She broke their eye contact and looked at K.R. "You should call them and let them know that we are coming for them. Open the door when we knock on it quickly because we don't know what will happen." She said in a cold voice. He didn't say anything and called his parents, He explained everything to them but Tae-hee's parents were worried and scared for him, and at the end, he cut the call and nodded to Tiara and she gave everyone a fake smile.
"Okay, We should leave now. One of you come here and close the door once we step out of the room." She ordered them as if she was the leader among them leading them through this apocalypse. J.J. came towards them and Tiara looked at Vin who was scared to go even though he wanted to be brave. "Don't worry, I promise I won't let anything happen to you." Tiara tried to make him calm down but Vin was trying to understand what she said in English but he got his comfort from her peaceful and promising eyes then he started processing her words to understand.
Vin was tensed and a little ashamed that he should be the one comforting her and promising her as a man he was but there she was standing confidently in front of him. "Let's go now." She approached for the door lock to open it but then she looked at Vin again. "Stay with me." She opened the door a little and peeked outside to look at the condition outside. "It seems clear." She opened the door and stepped outside and Vin just followed her like a lost puppy.
J.J. closed the door after looking at the surroundings outside. "Stay safe and come back safely." He said before closing the door. It was a small corridor because the meeting room was at the corner of the building but the next room was in the hall with a bit larger corridor. Tiara grabbed Vin's hand while looking at the next room's door and started to run toward it while Vin's gaze was fixed on her hand holding his ignoring everything else.
She saw a zombie who was a bodyguard of TR-X running towards them. She stopped and left Vin's hand and hold the wooden rod tightly to hit the zombie. Once he was close enough for her to attack she hit him on the head but nothing happened to him. She kicked him on his main part and then again hit on his head. The zombie fell to the ground while Vin was shocked to see the zombie before them. Tiara heard a voice coming from behind Vin and she turned back. "Vin!" She screamed and grabbed his hand again and started to run towards the door again but her scream attracted other zombies too.
They were very close to the door but got surrendered by the zombies by one side because there was a wall and the door to the next room behind them. They stopped the zombies from approaching them with the help of the wooden rods and all of their strength, they were holding the rods horizontally. "Kick on the door." Tiara ordered him in a low voice struggling to hold the rod against the zombies, He did what she said without any questions. "eomma, mun yeol-eo!" - 'Mom, Open the door.' He shouted struggling for his life which made the zombies more attracted to him.
The door finally opened, and Tiara knew it without even looking back. "Now, Listen carefully! You go first slowly." She looked at Vin who was processing her words. "B-but." Vin tried to say something. "No buts, You go first. I will handle it." There was something going on in Tiara's mind but Vin didn't listen to her this time which made her angry. He was looking at her as if it was his last time looking at her trying to memorize each feature but his eyes didn't show love but fear, fear of losing her without even getting a chance to know her.
"Go!" She scoffed at him and glared at him with anger filled in her eyes. They went backward slowly towards the door and then she signaled Vin to go inside now. He still wasn't ready to leave her alone with all these zombies but then his father screamed "Tae-hee!" He looked toward his father. "Go!" Tiara said again. He slowly let go of his strength to hold back the zombies and removed his rod and went inside when his father grabbed his hand and pulled him inside while Tiara used all her strength to hold them back all alone and then she started to move backward slowly.
Once she stepped inside the room while moving backward then she let go of the rod but the rod didn't fall down on the ground it was still stopping the zombies because it was stuck between the zombies and the door's frame, Of course, the rod was long enough to not to go inside the door gap horizontally. She looked at the zombies for a few seconds before closing the door in a hurry.
She locked the door and threw her forehead to the door taking heavy breaths and closed her eyes remembering each second she spent outside. "Are… you ok?" Vin asked her with her worried eyes. "Yeah…" She didn't turn to face him and kept her head on the door.
One of the men came towards her and looked at her from top to down searching for any bites. She looked at his foot and there was no need to look at his face to understand what he wanted to ask or what he was looking for. "They didn't bite me." Finally, She turned to them and showed her hands and legs. There were 2 mothers and 3 fathers who didn't look old according to their age.
"Call." Tiara guessed that they didn't know English so she tried to make them understand with her hands as well while saying it, She tried to remember his name but couldn't because they never introduced themselves to her. K.R. mother called him and he picked it up almost immediately. Tiara shoved her hand toward the lady who was holding the phone and gestured for her to give it to her, The lady gave the phone to her and Tiara put the call on speaker.
"Don't worry, We reached here but I think I need your help to translate everything I say to them." The member in the other room took a breath of relief again after listening to Tiara's voice even though not all of them understood what she said.
"Thank god, you called or else we could have gone crazy here." K.R. said excitedly while Tiara pressed her lips together making a thin line almost giving a down smile in irritation. "Yeah, But we need to get them back to your room and it will be harder. So, Can you translate everything I want to say to them or not?" She again reminded him of their need for him.
"Yes, of course, Say what's your plan?" K.R. asked her. "We will wait for the zombies to go away from here. Tiara started to explain her plan and K.R. started to translate it to everyone while everyone else was silent. "No one will scream and be silent as much as possible because I noticed that the voice attracts them toward us." Tiara said and stopped again for K.R. to translate it. "Some wooden rods are here as well. Each one of them has to take the rods because they will need to protect themselves if we can't. Tiara said and he translated again. "I will leave the room first but Vin will be in front to protect the elders and I will be at last to protect them from behind." Tiara explained again but this time K.R. stopped translating.
"Are you sure? Doesn't it mean you will stand outside of the room and wait for everyone to get outside?" He asked her. "Yes, But one of us has to do it to make sure everyone gets out of the room safely and then close the door but don't worry I will look if the coast is clear." Tiara could feel his worry. "O-okay…" K.R. stopped for a few seconds and translated it anyway. "I think that's it." Tiara thought again if she forgot anything but then she handed the phone to Vin and started looking around the room.
She was searching for something while Vin talked to his friends and family. She took water bottles but there were only two bottles. After a while Vin cut the call and the parents and Vin started talking in Korean but sometimes she thought that they were talking about her but couldn't understand a thing they were saying.
She went towards the door and peeked a little outside. There were three zombies roaming around as they were scattered again. She thought it was not the right time to go out.
In the other room, Joy started a live broadcast on his all social media and told all their fans about the situation they got themselves in. Every fan of theirs was scared and crying for them in their live and then Joy said "I will try to record every moment on camera and post it on our channel because we can die any moment right now." in Korean, He promised them genuinely because he was the grateful one in all of them.
After a while, Tiara peeked through the door again and saw the coast was clear this time. "It's time to go." She turned to Vin and the parents and signaled them that it was time, She took those 2 bottles which she found and put them under her pant pockets because the bottles were small. The parents took the rods one by one but there were only 4 rods and the parents were 5. The lady left was the mother of Sam, Tiara looked at the situation took the lady's hand, and said "I will protect you."
She didn't understand her words but her expressions, She nodded to Tiara. Tiara opened the door and got outside while grabbing the rod she left when entering the room from the ground and everyone else got out in a hurry. There was no problem till they all got out but a zombie came out from the other side of the hallway and ran towards them. "Keep walking." Tiara whispered. They all tried to hold back their scream but remembered K.R.'s words which were the translation of Tiara's words.
Tiara stood there for the zombie to attack to protect everyone else but she didn't focus on the other one who was coming from her left. This one was a silent zombie who didn't make any noise while coming toward her and she didn't notice it too because she was focused on the one who was running towards her from the front.
