Third person POV
Later, once classes had ended, Kichi, Haru, and David went home. Catalina and Christy are with them, but Catalina was mentally exhausted by Kichi's outsmarting knowledge. Her plans of outsmarting him had gone into flames.
"Are you okay, Cata-chan?" Cristy was taken aback by her friend's current state.
"Y…Yeah…" Catalina barely said.
Upon seeing that, Kichi asked Catalina, "Are you okay?"
They all stopped walking, and Haru and David then looked at the girls, looking a bit concerned for them.
Hearing Kichi's question, Catalins snapped out from her mentally exhausted state and became serious, pointing her finger at Kichi. "From now on, you will be my rival."
She said that seriously, and she was not kidding.
Kichi didn't understand that, so he was oblivious and just responded plainly, "Okay then."
But Haru whispered to him, "Dude, she's your literal rival. That means she will compete with you in any way."
"Is that so?" Kichi replied back to him.
Haru nodded.
So, Kichi looked at Catalina with a smile. "Okay, do your best to beat me."
This causes Haru, David, and Cristy to be dumbfounded by his attitude of being a rival to Catalina.
"What the…?"
"Dude, he doesn't fully get it."
Catalina accepted it and vowed not to lose to him.
After that, they all resumed walking. Haru lives with his adoptive father outside of the school campus, so he parted ways with them with a farewell before leaving the campus. With that, Kichi and the others went to their respective dorm rooms to rest up for the night, ending the chaotic day for now.
