The cold and wet nose of the creature sniffed at her body as she winced. Her flesh tingle in the areas that the wet nose touched leaving small wet marks.
The hot saliva of its mouth dribbled across her as it sniffed her scent deeply and growled with pure hostility.
"You're not a long ear. What are you! Why have you come here!?" growled the beast. Digging its claws into her shoulder as it spun her around quickly, the force making her body jangle against the floor of the forest.
The impact of her back hitting against the ground forced a grunt out of her as she looked at the creature in awe.
" A werewolf..... Oh my..."
The wolf got closer to her face and snarled
"werewolf? I am Luka! And these woods are my territory. What business do you have here!?"
"I don't know how I got here. I just awoke in the grass is all. Wow you are.... Really big." she was shocked that this beast could talk at all. What sounded like a male was huge, standing at eight feet tall on hind legs.
"Then I suggest you leave" he said with eye of disinterest.
"Wha... You're not gonna.... Eat me?"
He shot a nasty glare at her and snarled, his pink gums surrounded his yellowish fangs.
"You? Why would I eat you. You're tiny. You wouldn't even be a good enough snack for me." he said in almost a laugh as he turned his body on all fours and began to slowly walk away. Despite massive size his furry black body moved quietly along the forest floor.
She quickly stood up and followed him
" Hey! Hang on a second! I don't know how to navigate these woods! You're intelligent enough to not want to eat me and surely your intelligent to understand I'll die here alone. Help me get out."
She demanded of him.
His pacing didn't stop as he let out a Huff
"I have no obligation to help you or to serve you. So get moving. Skyfall comes and bigger and more unintelligent beasts will be wandering freely to kill you." he said with no emotion and ears pinned back
"Skyfall.... Oh like sundown? How about you stick by me I promise I won't be inconvenient I'll have better luck navigating in the morning. You protect me and ill-"
"You'll what?" he interrupted
"chase my prey for me with weak legs, sratch them with tiny nails, bite them with flat teeth. You're body is as useless as a pointed ear, the difference is pointed ears hunt with tools" he said as he stopped and dropped his body lower.
She followed his eyes in the direction of a boar unlike any other shed seen. Moss began to grow all over it, its tusks came from its mouth and spiraled three times. A boar about a meter long and big as a small bear.
"I can make that taste much better if you can get me out of here before the sun sets and to somewhere safe." she said with her hands together in plead. Tightening her lips together and pushing them out slightly as she raised her eyebrows.
The wolf turned its head to her and then slowly turned away as it disappeared from her sights. A loud squeal could be heard as she turned her eyes to the boar now dead.
He moved so quickly that her eyes hadn't processed the movement. In seconds he had attacked it and his powerful Jaws had torn out the boars throat.
Standing in a pile of blood, completely unphased by it he turned up and looked at her.
"I will agree to your statement. But you will begin by keeping your word. Make this taste better and I'll help you leave." he said dragging the boar over to her feet in his Jaws as he dropped it and stood up right looming over her.
She scanned her eyes up his body to meet his gaze before looking down at the boar.
" yeah... Okay. "
