Lisa reached out wildly in her panic and by sheer coincidence grabbed Han Shuo's trouser leg as she fell through the air. She immediately gave a strong tug, swinging Han Shuo's body violently, causing him to fall into the depths of the trap with her.
Han Shuo had already quickly checked the bottom of the trap earlier. Thanks to the moonlight, he could see that there were no sharp knives planted at the bottom of the trap, just a few protruding rocks, but those protruding rocks would still cause great discomfort if one fell on them.
Han Shuo's heart was strangely calm as the sounds of Lisa's screams filled his ears. He didn't know if it was because he had been training his magic yuan, but lately, whenever he faced danger, Han Shuo's first reaction was not to panic. Rather, he quickly thought about how to resolve the crisis he was in, and this time was no exception.
The trap had been set in haste and was only three metres deep, but during the split seconds of the fall, Han Shuo surprisingly still had the mental capacity to think of other things. As he listened to Lisa's screams, Han Shuo circulated the magic yuan that had just digested the battle aura at a speed many times faster than normal.
Han Shuo made his move just as the two were about to crash violently into the protruding rocks. He snatched Lisa out of the air, grabbing the girl by the waist as she completely lost her head and screamed in all directions. He spun around, sacrificing his butt and back, and slammed into the protruding rocks at the bottom of the pit.
"Aiyo..." Han Shuo grimaced in pain as the wound that had just been bandaged split open again. Fresh blood immediately spilled out. As the primary point of contact, his buttocks also hurt tremendously.
Lisa hadn't suffered too much damage while she was in Han Shuo's arms. When she saw that she was unharmed and heard Han Shuo's anguished moans, she began to cast a suspicious glance over Han Shuo's body and asked in extreme surprise, "Why did you save me?"
Han Shuo's anguished cries were silenced by Lisa's question. His face suddenly wore a look of dejection as he shook his head with a deep sigh, "Because I like you!"
It was as if lightning had struck Lisa as soon as she heard those words. She stared at Han Shuo dumbly, completely shocked. It took her a long time to react as she pointed at Han Shuo and stammered, "You... you... I... I... what did you say?"
"I said I like you Lisa!" Han Shuo looked at Lisa with a face full of sincerity and spoke wholeheartedly, "I have actually liked you all these years and therefore never begrudged you for experimenting on me. Even when you almost tortured me to death with the Agony of the Soul, I never hated you.
It's just that I understand that I'm just an errand slave. There's too big a gap between my status and yours, so I just bury these thoughts deep in my heart and never dare to think about them. I could only act crazy in the hope of getting more attention from you. Lisa, was I a fool to do that?
I am so mean, such an asshole. Han Shuo spouted lies with a straight face, wondering inwardly with the other that he could use such low methods after arriving in a foreign world. He didn't know if it was due to the training of his Magic Yuan, or the fact that he had been evil from the beginning and it had only begun to show itself after he had thrown off all the constraints of this strange world.
Lisa was completely taken aback by Han Shuo, staring dumbly at him and forgetting to speak. She only shook herself out of her stupor and stood up hastily as her excited hands wandered haphazardly over a strip of naked thigh. As she looked at Han Shuo, an astonishing blush actually crept across her face for the first time. She seemed a little embarrassed.
Han Shuo started and then lowered his head for a glance. It was then that he noticed that Lisa had torn his trousers as they landed. Apart from his boxers, his entire lower body was completely exposed. Lisa had actually just been sitting on his naked lap.
Frantically whipping her head to the side, Lisa's voice rose as she sulked, "I don't care if you're telling the truth or not, there's no way I could like you. You're just an errand slave for the Major of Necromancy. I will never have anything to do with you."
"I understand Lisa, I just hope to stay in the Necromancy Major and watch you from a distance. I won't have any other fantasies. Now that I've said all the words I've been holding back for years, I feel much more at ease." Han Shuo said with a deep voice and a face full of sincerity.
"I, I'm leaving. We can forget what happened before, I won't pursue it further, but don't you dare dream. You're just an errand slave, the two of us together is impossible!" Lisa turned her back to Han Shuo and quickly replied as she listened to his heartfelt confession. She immediately began an incantation, summoning a skeletal warrior and commanding it to throw down the rope she had planned to use on Han Shuo.
Han Shuo knew that once girls knew that someone had a secret crush on them, they would not be able to hurt that person, no matter how much they hated that person before. Lisa was the same.
Lisa wouldn't like Han Shuo just because of his words, but she would forgive Han Shuo for his past deeds because of them. She would even help him in the future because she thought Han Shuo liked her. Even if she never liked Han Shuo, she would be touched and her future actions and judgement would be affected.
Seeing that Lisa was about to leave, Han Shuo turned his back on Lisa and smiled an evil smile of a successful plot. Then he lowered his voice, "Lisa, I can do anything for you. I have learned that if you want your breasts to develop fully, you must drink lots of papaya milk and swim a lot. When you shower after swimming, you should massage the sides of your breasts. They say this will ensure that your breasts develop fully.
"Damn Bryan, where did you hear all that?" Lisa kept her head averted and made a huffing reply as she grabbed the rope. After a pause Lisa spoke again, "What's papaya milk?"
"Eh, milk will do. Two cups a day!" Han Shuo suddenly remembered that there didn't seem to be any papayas in this world and hurriedly explained.
Quickly turning her head, Lisa glared at Han Shuo and said angrily, "Shut up. Don't tell anyone about what happened today, and don't tell others that you like me, or I will kill you."
Having said that, she gave an order to the skeletal warrior waiting above ground and he pulled her up. A few scuffling noises travelled down after that, and all became peaceful again.
Han Shuo laughed heartily after exhaling, thinking that he really was becoming more and more evil to lie so seamlessly and flawlessly. Now that Lisa had let him off the hook so easily, it proved how miraculously effective this method had been.
He chuckled as he walked forward and saw that the rope Lisa had left behind was still there. He pulled on it and realised that the other end was most likely tied to the false mountain. Overjoyed, he understood that Lisa must have given him a hand out of convenience before she left. Han Shuo pulled himself up the rope and strutted back to his camp.
Han Shuo practised magic after commanding the small skeleton to heal the wounds on his back. He felt that the magic yuan had not only grown a bit larger, but also spun at a higher speed than before. The Mystic Glacial Spellfire he had been practising for a while had finally progressed to the point where the magical yuan was circulating up to his wrist. This pleased him greatly.
Was it because the magic yuan had digested Erick's combat aura? Han Shuo's brow furrowed in silent thought as he thought back to the circumstances that had occurred after Claude's combat aura had been absorbed the last time. Han Shuo was beginning to suspect that the magic yuan in his body could be strengthened by absorbing martial aura.
Why did the training of his magic yuan have such a strange effect? Han Shuo thought for a while in vain and did not continue his pondering. He began to meditate in order to train his mental strength.
His mind empty and clear, Han Shuo suddenly felt distracted as he trained his mental strength. He was unable to immediately settle into his meditation as he usually did, as if something was disturbing his meditation by calling out to him. It was a bizarre feeling and Han Shuo had ignored it at first. It was only after his meditations had been interrupted a few times that he began to pay attention to this phenomenon.
As Han Shuo calmed his mind and began to expand his senses, he immediately sensed that the thing interrupting his meditations was under the bed. The only thing under the bed was the handbag that had belonged to Dylan.
A thought struck him as Han Shuo reached for the bag. He pulled out the eerie dark green jade box and felt the eerie cold air inside. Han Shuo shuddered involuntarily and began to carefully inspect the green jade box.
The culprit that had repeatedly disturbed Han Shuo's meditations was the dark green jade box in front of him. To this day, he still didn't know what was inside. He hadn't cared before, but now he had no choice but to examine the jade box if he wanted to meditate successfully again.
He picked up the green key and stuck it into the notch on the jade box. He felt that it was unable to turn, and a look of confusion appeared on his face after he waved the key back and forth a few times.
The key can't open the jade box," Han Shuo was startled and began to get puzzled. He recalled the circumstances of the last time in great detail and thought of something. He concentrated his mental power and slowly focused it on the jade box.
Suddenly, a gust of sinister aura emanated from the box and entered Han Shuo's mind, hurting his mind. Fighting back against the pain, Han Shuo concentrated his mental power like never before. Even the magic yuan in his body spun much faster than usual.
Fighting back against the invasion of sinister aura from the jade box, Han Shuo tried another hard turn of the key. The key turned to the right with an audible click as the jade box suddenly burst open, revealing the contents inside.
