"Oh, that girl is crazy," Chris murmured under his breath, his voice tinged with disbelief, as he cautiously approached the motionless figure sprawled on the floor before him.
Chris's attention then shifted upward, catching sight of Morgan ascending the staircase.
"And I don't think she knows what she's up against," Chris shook his head. "Edgar becomes stronger when he's out of his mind, and now I'm wondering what Precious must be going through."
"You sound concerned," Lucas uttered as he checked how Morgan beat Veronica up. "She wouldn't have beaten Veronica if she hadn't taken her to the sea. You know that we can't survive underwater. You can beat someone when you know their weakness."
"I am concerned, Lucas," Chris ignored Luca's statement, wondering what was going on in Edgar's room. "Should we check what's going on?"
"They shouldn't have interfered in the first place," planting his hands in his pockets, Lucas uttered, aiming to leave the room.
