Olivia's alarm blared through the room, signaling the start of a new day. She groaned softly and reached over to silence the intrusive noise. Rubbing her eyes, she pushed back the warm covers and swung her legs over the edge of the bed, her bare feet touching the cool wooden floor.
The sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow on Olivia's face as she slowly rose to her feet. Stretching her arms above her head, she let out a satisfying yawn, feeling the sleep slowly dissipate from her body. Today was an important day at work, and she couldn't afford to waste any time.
Olivia shuffled her way to the bathroom, her steps still heavy with remnants of sleep. She flicked on the light switch, illuminating the small space and revealing her reflection in the mirror. Her messy bedhead and slightly puffy eyes were evidence of her reluctant departure from the comfort of her dreams.
She reached for her toothbrush, squeezing a dollop of toothpaste onto its bristles. As she brushed her teeth, she stared at her reflection, contemplating the day ahead. Her hazel eyes held a glimmer of determination, mixed with a touch of apprehension. Olivia always strived for excellence in her work, but today's presentation carried more weight than usual.
Rinsing her mouth, she moved on to her skincare routine. She washed her face with a gentle cleanser, carefully massaging it into her skin with her fingertips. Olivia believed in taking care of herself, both inside and out. She knew that feeling confident in her own skin was crucial to navigating the challenges of the corporate world.
Once her face was cleansed and refreshed, Olivia moved on to her makeup routine. She applied a light layer of foundation, enhancing her natural complexion. A few strokes of mascara and a touch of lip gloss completed her minimalist look. Olivia preferred to let her natural beauty shine through, rather than hiding behind layers of makeup.
With her skincare and makeup routine complete, Olivia turned her attention to her outfit for the day. She stood in front of her closet, scanning through the neatly arranged rows of clothes. After a moment of contemplation, she chose a tailored black pantsuit, exuding professionalism and confidence. She quickly slipped into the outfit, adjusting the collar and cuffs.
Olivia took one last glance in the mirror, satisfied with her appearance. She felt a surge of determination as she mentally prepared herself for the challenges that awaited her at the office. Grabbing her bag and keys, she made her way to the front door, ready to conquer the day.
As she stepped out into the bustling city streets, Olivia's posture straightened and her pace quickened. She was ready to face whatever obstacles came her way, armed with her intelligence, skill, and unwavering ambition. Today was another step forward on her path to success, and Olivia was more than ready to embrace it.

The sound of her phone message notification drew her out of her little confidence pep talk she was having in her head. She looked at her phone in her right hand to see who sent the message and what it entailed.
It was a message from Macy her colleague, Olivia stared at her phone with shock clearly written on her face.
"What in the world is happening?" She thought to herself.
"How come Mr. Westwood is forfeiting his seat as CEO of Westwood Enterprises to his eldest son, he's not even up to his retirement age" Olivia thought aloud
She kept on walking while staring at her phone, lost in thoughts about what might unveil today.
"It's gonna be a long day" She thought and sighed.

Olivia stepped out of the bustling city street and into the grand lobby of the Westwood Enterprises office building. The marble floors gleamed under the warm glow of the chandeliers, and the soft hum of conversations filled the air. It was a familiar place, one she had walked into countless times before.
As she made her way towards the elevators, Olivia noticed a small gathering near the entrance. Her eyes widened as she recognized the figures standing there. It was Collins Westwood, her supposed boss who is now handling over to his son, and next to him stood a man who could only be his son, Sebastian Westwood—the newly appointed CEO.
Her heart skipped a beat as she approached them, a mixture of surprise and curiosity swirling within her. Olivia had known Collins for years, having worked closely with him as his secretary, but she had never met Sebastian before. She wondered what this unexpected encounter meant for her role within the company.
Collins turned his head and noticed Olivia's approach. A warm smile crossed his face as he gestured towards her. "Olivia this is my son Sebastian he'll be succeseding my position as CEO, Sebastian, this is Olivia Peterson, my secretary. She will be working with you now as your secretary," he introduced, his voice filled with a touch of pride.
Sebastian's eyes locked with Olivia's, and an instant connection seemed to form between them. Time momentarily stood still as he absorbed each other's presence, a magnetic pull drawing t
him closer to her. In that moment, Sebastian couldn't help but admire Olivia's beauty, both outwardly and the strength that seemed to emanate from within.
Collins interjected oblivious to the charged atmosphere, his voice brimming with reassurance. "Olivia has been an invaluable asset to me during my time as CEO. I have no doubt that she will continue to excel under your leadership, Sebastian," he said, a sense of pride evident in his tone.
Sebastian nodded, while Olivia smiled at Collins remark. Sebastian just stared at Olivia lost in her smile.
"She has a pretty smile". Those where the first words that came to his mind
"It's nice knowing you Mrs. Peterson" Sebastian acknowledged stretching out a hand to her. His voice deep and husky.
"My pleasure" Olivia replied, accepting his hand. They were large compared to hers.
"Ok Seb, let me show you your office" Collins spoke up while gesturing the way with his hands.
" Seb?" Olivia mummered with a smile on her face
"How cute" she thought almost giggling out loud.
She looked up to see Sebastian looking down at her curiosity encrypted in his face.
She cleared her throat and followed Collins behind
Sebastian smirked as he looked at her retreating back.
"Lord please help me how am I going to concentrate if I have her as my secretary" he thought while following them towards the elevator
