We arrived a couple minutes ago. Me and Abi were shown our rooms while max went to talk to Liam In his study. The rooms are big yet beautifully decorated, big bed with modern furniture. I left Abi to unpack as I needed to do the same, as I was unpacking, I remembered that I needed to speak to Max about my father.
"Max" I called out as I look for him, but he was nowhere to be found, I look around I saw the butler, so I went to ask him.
"Hello, miss Smith, I am butler Zachary. Call me Zach, is there anything I can help you with?" he asked.
"Yes, I was looking for Max, but I couldn't find him, any idea where he is?" I asked.
Before he could reply I heard max's voice behind me.
"Looking for me?" he said as he arched closer.
"Yes, I need to speak to you about my father, got a minute?" I asked as I turned to face him.
He turned around and started walking indicating that I should follow him to his room.
"Close the door behind you" he said as we entered his room.
I have been to his room before so nothing new.
"What did you want to talk about?" He asked.
He was being too formal with me since we arrived and he's kind of like keeping distant with me and I don't know why. First when we arrived, he told the butler to show us our rooms and turned to walk away without saying anything and now he`s pretending as if he has no idea about what I want to talk to him about? I thought, but I decided to keep quiet and focus on what's important.
"My father" I responded. "You told me not to do anything and that I should wait for you first, for safety reasons you gave. Now what's the next step? I don't have enough time; my father will soon find this place we need to move faster" I added.
"I'm dealing with this Lana, I'll come to you when, I'm sure." he simply said.
I don't understand why he's not taking any of this serious. Fine I'll deal with this myself, you keep doing what you started. I think it's time to visit you, Miss Mariana. I thought before leaving Max's room.
I went back to my room change my clothes into a black hoodie, black pants, a black hat and a black mask before making my way out of my room.
**After 15 minutes**
I arrived at the hospital and snicked into Miss Mariana's room since I already knew where she was at. I avoided the cameras, so nobody knew I was here. I was good at avoiding the cameras since I used to do that back at my parents' home otherwise, they would punish me for going out of my room and that evil women will take that as an excuse to hurt me. Sometimes I even wonder why my own mother would do that to me.
As I was looking at Miss Mariana, I noticed she looked familiar, but I couldn't bring myself to remember where I saw her at. I quickly took my phone and grabbed a few pictures of her and the room she was at, to help with my investigation.
"I wonder what happened to this beautiful woman, she looked so peaceful in her sleep", I said before turning to leave.
I needed to do everything fast since they are bodyguards roaming around this floor.
I went back to Max's house. I didn't want max to know that I left the house, so I had no choice but to sneak in through the window in my room.
When I got in, I unpacked my clothes and lay down my bed to breathe a little I wanted to think about everything that is happening and try to connect a few dots maybe then I will have somewhere to start.
Before I closed my eyes a knock was heard on my door.
"Who is it" I asked.
"Miss Smith it's Butler Zach here; the food is ready downstairs so I thought I should inform you." He spoke.
"Aha okay Mr Zach I will be there in a minute" I said as I woke up to quickly change my clothes.
After a few minutes of changing, I went downstairs.
"Mr Zach did you cook all this food? I said as I rushed and smelled the food in excitement. There was so much food on table they had cauliflower steaks with hazelnuts and browned butter, a whole turkey and baked chicken, spicy wings, macaroni and brie with crab, lots of steaks and French fries it was a messy meal where there were multiple favourite foods of mine expect for greens. And the wine seemed so good and expensive.
"Unfortunately, no miss smith, the cooks did the job" he said as he laughed.
"Really?" I said as I sat down.
I was famished and without knowing I filled my plate up with each of everything that was on the table and started eating.
"didn't know you eat that much!" Max said as he pulled the chair next to me.
"Surprised? well I apologize for your unawareness." I spat back sarcastically as I continued eating.
I gave a peek at his plate and to my surprise this dude doesn't eat much. He literally had some greens and a bit of cauliflower steaks with hazelnuts and browned butter. while I had chicken, turkey, cauliflower steaks with hazelnuts and browned butter, a full glass of red wine, some spicy chicken wings, macaroni and brie with crab, a piece of steak and zero greens. I don't like greens so to me I think it's a valid reason not to have some on my plate. I thought as I giggle and continue to eat.
After a few minutes Abi joined us and had food together. I was famished before but now I'm satiated.
"Thanks butler Zach the food was delicious." I said as I stand up getting ready to leave.
"It's my pleasure miss smith" he said.
max also finished eating his food I looked at him smiled then walk away. He looked at me and ignore as he takes the stairs with me. His room was also upstairs so I didn't think anything of not until we reach out of sight, and he pulls me and pins me to the wall. I was taken aback by his actions but surprisingly my mouth couldn't say anything, and my hands dint push him away I just stood there looking deep into his eyes.
"Why didn't you have some greens?" he asked.
I was pulled back to world and completely went off. I did not expect such a question. "What did I expect?" I said inwardly as I kicked my forehead. "Ooh I don't like greens, so I didn't have some." I said as I look away.
"Ooh really, but you know greens are very good for your body you should have them every day." He said as he chuckles.
I looked at him and just pushed him away trying to leave since I knew I will be wasting my breath arguing with him.
"I'm not done with you just yet why are you leaving?" he said as he pulls me back to him and hugs me from behind.
"Let me go" I said calmly. I wasn't calm my heart was racing against Usain Bolt and won, that how fast my heart was beating but didn't want Max to know so I tried my best for it to sound calm.
he leaned closer to my ear and spoke. "Tomorrow night, 7pm on dot I will wait for you in my car outside. No one should see you. I don't like delays." He said as he let go of me and walked into his room.
"He didn't wait for my reply and just went, that's a bit rude but whatever anyways what is he planning to do? Where is he planning on taking me? I said before turning to my room and go to bed.

"Mommy where are we going?" a little girls voice was heard.
The woman who was driving turned to the backseat in surprised. "What are you doing here my baby?
"I was waiting for you to give you this, I created it myself mommy." The little girl said as she shows painting, she drew. "I love you baby." The women said before pressing on the breaks and pulled the little girl into a hug.
"Everything is going to be okay; I will protect you with everything I have." She said as tears drop down of her eyes.
Suddenly a lorry came over us and everything went black.
