"Get Ethan to me right now."
I am fuming, my face buried in my hands as I think over the information Gabriel gave me. I have a traitor in my pack and if I don't find a way to deal with it, it will cost the lives of everyone I love.
My mind is in a jumble and my emotions are running amok. I can't think straight, I can't even think at all.
Gabriel thinks he can make me the type of leader he is. I don't even want to be lenient with Ethan. I want to kill him.
Ethan is a friend--at least I thought he was. We have been friends since we were kids, he has been like family to me and now he has betrayed me and killed one of my guards. I saw it all when I tethered with Gabriel, I have been aching, and my heart has been hurting but I can't focus on that.
"Also how come I haven't seen Michael on patrol?" I ask my guard Finneas.
Finneas stops with confusion on his face "I think he swapped shifts with Will, and said he needed a break."
