Strangely, the energy didn't pressure him and only pressured the warriors around him.
Jin could see a valiant looking man with long blonde hair approaching the crowd.
He was about 2 meters tall and had a lean build. Despite the armor he was wearing, his steps were light.
"C-Commander Reginald!"
Someone from the crowd exclaimed with a flustered expression.
'Commander Reginald..?' Jin tilted his head as he stared at him.
He could see that the guy's aura was very powerful, only weaker than Lord Axton.
'He's a a high ranking warrior for sure…' Thought Jin.
As the man called Commander Reginald walked, the crowd gave way to him.
He only stopped when he was in front of Jin, making the latter confused.
Reginald looked around, "Didn't I tell you idiots that you shouldn't use aura when sparring!? Besides, I also informed you that the first years from the Training Center will come, what would happen if you accidentally injure a trainee!?"
The crowd stayed quiet as he reprimanded them.
Strictly speaking, he was under the castellan while most of the warriors here were not as they were independent warriors from the Adventurer's Guild.
However, his prestige and reputation could be said to be at max level. His feats made the others respect him with all their hearts.
After he finished reprimanding the crowd, he knelt as he looked at Jin, "Kid, are you okay?"
Jin only had one thing in his mind right now.
He seemed to completely forget about anything else as he asked, "What aura art did you use just now?"
"Huh?" Faced with such unexpected words, even the valiant Reginald had a confused expression on his face.
* * *
A few minutes later…
After making sure that Jin was not hurt in any way, he led him to their instructor.
"I'm sorry about the actions of the warriors, I'll talk some sense to them later so don't worry." Reginald had an apologetic expression as he faced Agnes.
Instructor Agnes had a flustered expression on her face as she waved her hand, "N-No, I'm the one at fault here. I should have kept watching my trainees more carefully. Don't worry about it, Commander Reginald."
'Heh?' Jin grinned as he saw his instructor acting weirdly in front of Reginald.
She had always been rough with her words and actions. It was the first time he was seeing her act like this.
Of course, someone as smart as Jin easily figured out the circumstances behind her actions.
Reginald listened to Agnes's words and frowned.
Agnes took this as a sign of dissatisfaction and instantly panicked.
Fortunately, Reginald spoke in the next second, "How about this, to make up for the issues we've caused, we'll let the trainees watch the sparring of our strongest warriors."
Agnes secretly sighed in relief, "That'd be fantastic! I sure hope that the trainees will learn a lot from them…'
Reginald smiled and said, "Then it's settled! Please gather the trainees at the center sparring area while I call the warriors."
Seeing him leave, Agnes sighed in relief once again.
In the next second, however, she turned her head to Jin with an unhappy look on her eyes.
She whispered, "Don't tell anybody!"
"Yes instructor!" Jin responded obediently as he secretly laughed in his heart.
"Wait here while I gather the others, okay? And don't roam around!"
"Yes instructor!" Jin didn't have any plans on roaming as what he learned earlier was enough for him to ponder about while waiting.
Instructor Agnes looked satisfied and left shortly.
'Energy Force, huh…' Jin thought of what Reginald told him earlier.
While Reginald was walking Jin to Agnes, the former shared a few pieces of knowledge with him.
It turned out that what he used earlier to pressure the warriors was an aura art called Energy Force.
This technique was used to exert force and pressure among anyone who had a lower level of Energy Core than the user.
However, there was one thing that Reginald said which he couldn't quite forget.
'Energy Force isn't anything special as it could only be used to those weaker than you… However, the situation would be different with Mind Force…'
As for what Mind Force was, Reginald only said that Jin would come to know about it in his later years in the Training Center.
"Brother! Where did you go earlier!? I couldn't find you at all!"
His thoughts were interrupted as he saw his sister running up to him.
Of course, Jin couldn't just say that he forgot about her so he said, "Sorry sis, I got too engrossed in watching the warriors spar earlier…"
Tanya pouted and asked, "So you forgot about me!?"
Seeing her brother scratch his head awkwardly, Tanya play punched him in the chest, "You meanie!!"
Jin was thankful that she wasn't serious as she could really knock him out with a punch.
After a while, he could also see Marco with Instructor Agnes along with the other boys.
He had a sad expression on his face as whispered, "I couldn't find her…"
Worried about his friend, Jin walked up to him and asked, "Are you okay?"
Marco looked at him, making Jin shocked.
He had tears in his eyes as he looked as if the whole world was taken away from him, "Do I look okay? I couldn't see General Mika at all…"
Jin was speechless and just patted his friend in the back.
Instructor Agnes did a head count and after seeing that no one was missing, she said, "We'll go to the central sparring area now because the commander wanted to show the abilities of some of the strongest warriors in the fortress. You lot are really lucky with opportunities aren't ya?"
The children all erupted with cheers as they followed behind their instructor.
Soon enough, they arrived at the center sparring area.
They didn't need to wait long before they saw a valiant blonde man walking towards them.
It was Reginald together with two warriors behind him.
The young trainees all had excited looks on their faces.
However, there were some that had peculiar expressions instead of excitement.
There was Marco and the other boys who had a blush on their face.
And then there were Jin and Tanya who had surprise written all over their faces.
The reason for their surprise was because…
Reginald smiled gently as he introduced the warriors behind him, "Trainees, these are two of the strongest warriors in the whole fortress! Mika and Leo!"
…their father was there.
