I woke up, and Tang Yusheng screamed like he had seen a ghost or something. The first thing I did was lock my gaze on him to see what made him like that, and it was a massive monkey.
The monkey was familiar to me, yes. It was the same one that protected me when advancing to the Foundation Establishment realm! But if I remember correctly, he lived deeper into the forest and not in its beginning.

He tried to act brave, but the monkey before him was on the twelfth layer, almost reaching the Foundation realm. It was beyond his capabilities to fight against it.
So, to save my disciple from getting his ass kicked, I let some of my Qi out, not enough for Tang Yusheng to notice it, but enough for the monkey.
The monkey wasn't looking like it would attack my disciples for no reason. I knew it by its manner, and it fought against me fairly the last time. An incredible spiritual beast that one was.
