"This is your room. I apologize, but we only have one room available for the two of you," a cute girl dressed in a maid uniform informed us.
I wasn't angry at all about having to share a room with Tang Yusheng. In fact, I was overjoyed to finally have a decent place to stay after spending so much time in the forest and then in a cave.
Those were not the most comfortable accommodations for a good night's rest. Now, I finally had a luxurious palace room all to myself!
"No problem, sweetheart. Thank you," I replied.
The maid blushed and left the room. The first thing I did was leap onto the king-sized bed, feeling the softness alleviate all the pain in my back.
"This is simply amazing," I exclaimed.
"I can sleep on the couch and let you have the bed," Tang Yusheng offered.
