This mysterious forest seemed to have a life of its own, deep and silent, with only sporadic bird songs drifting in the air, as if they were telling their stories. The woods, filled with a faint mist, appeared as if covered in silk, obscuring their interior. The sunlight scattered through the dense canopy, hitting the moss and shadows beneath, casting a colorful play of light and shadow. The tall, robust trunks were like giant guardians. As they wandered alone among the trees, the rustling sound of fallen leaves and dry branches echoed beneath their feet.
"Cassidy, don't you think this place is a bit strange?" Elwin whispered, looking at the dense trees around him.
Cassidy blinked, beginning to observe the surroundings, "It is strange, I feel the air here is thick, as if I could hear it breathing. Also, the leaves of these trees are so large, and they all grow downward."
