Finally it had gotten to Tyler's turn, and as she walked towards the centre of the stage, the participant she previously slapped couldn't help but curse under his breath at her.
"Crazy bitch, I hope she gets eliminated or is given rank one." The man said while remembering that he had rank one himself.
Tyler had started with her presentation and unlike many other people here, she had chosen to sing an original song composed by her.
[Name: Tyler Smith]
[Perfect Voice: 60%]
[Dance Skill: 40%]
[Composing Skill:70%]
[~Body Structure~]
[Height: Medium]
[Feminine Build: Slender with long legs]
[Beauty: Great]
[Idolic: Disappointedly Low]
Viewing Tyler's stat, he was quite impressed by the percentage of her voice stat.
'If a correct judgement is made, she should have about four ranks, since a perfect voice stat from 80% upward is considered five ranks. While 60% and 70% is four ranks.'
Alex calculated this based on people's stats he has seen so far. Ever since he got the skill 'Info 2.0', he has been using it more effectively than ever since it allowed him to see the voice and dance stats of all participants.
And in doing so, he had managed to see those with voice stats of 70% and below. The only set of individuals that have 80% and above were limited to Nox and a few others. Even the VIP participant; Lyla who was the only female among the VIPs had 60% voice stat, yet she was given Five ranks; a rigging plan of Thomas.
Apart from Nox, there was no other VIP participant that have their voice stats close to 80%, they were either 70% or 60%, including the twins who both have 60% in their dance stats. What angered Alex mostly was how those with 80% Stats above were given rank threes and twos when they deserved five rank.
But there was nothing he could other than to clench his fist and watch everything unfold. Sooner or later, once he get signed by an industry, he'll implement the idea of creating another contest show. All he have to do now is hope everything works out well.
Eventually, Tyler was done with her presentation and Thomas as usual had given her a rank three without caring about what the people were thinking.
"Now that we're done with the first stage of the contest, we will move on to the next stage which will be held next week Saturday." Sam Barton announced. "Just so you know, there will be no sort of activity whatsoever tomorrow. However, you will be given a tag which has your role number and room number written on it. You can choose to leave or stay here for the night, just ensure you please leave as early as possible tomorrow or you'll be locked in."
'No activity tomorrow, is Thomas planning something or what?' Alex wondered before he felt someone tap him on the shoulder.
"Hey bro, are you staying?" Bob said as he sat down with his back resting on the chair. Ultimately, when he was given rank two he had immediately left for the toilet. He needed somewhere private to yell and shout so he could let out his anger and disappointment.
"No, I'm going home." Alex replied.
"How about we have a little tipsy before we go on our different path. I need someone to drink with." Bob said to which Alex reasoned and nodded to. If anything, Bob was trying his best to keep the sadness he was feeling hidden, and Alex was able to understand how he felt since he had gone through something similar in the past.
"You don't have to think too much about it, I watched your performance and I can say you deserved a lot more better than that. If they give you five ranks, I'm sure you really deserved it." Alex said, trying to console him.
"Really? Was my performance not trash?"
"Believe me, I have a lot of experience about stage performance and I can say you did better than those twin brothers of yours. Even far better." Alex truthfully replied.
"B-but I had two ranks, while they had five. H-how could I have been better than them. They must be getting back at me for always beating them in the DFG." Bob stuttered while trying to hold in his tears.
"Oh come on." Tyler butt in. "You know their score was rigged in the first place. And the idea of having VIP participants in the UIC had never happened before, shouldn't you have known better since you were the one that told us about their scheme beforehand."
Hearing this, Bob had recalled his conversation with the twins back at the Canteen how he would be shamed embarrassingly out of the stage. Clenching his fists tightly, Bob had started punching the air with anger.
"Those bastards, I hate them. I hate him, I hate everyone of them." Bob had eventually broke into tears as he could no longer hold them in again. He wasn't the only participant as those who even had it worse than him were cursing and swearing out loud at Thomas and the rest of the judges.
The saving grace was that, there were securities around restraining the riled up members and pushing them towards the exit. Although Thomas and the rest of the judges were still around, the VIP participants had immediately left as soon as the contest ended.
"It's alright Bob, I know you're angry. But believe me or not, I'm just as angry as you are, and the more I keep on seeing some faces around here, the more I'm getting agitated and tempted to do something bad. So please, let's get out of here before either of us do something stupid or worse, get ourselves eliminated from the contest."
Although Bob was wondering what could be annoying Alex or making him agitated, he had decided it was best for him not to ask. He wasn't the type of person that meddles into other people's business and he would want it the same way for himself.
Heeding Alex's words, Bob had started getting out of his seat, while Tyler couldn't help but took a glanceful look at Alex, it was so obvious to the point where he had to eventually speak up.
"Is there something on my face?" Alex asked.
"No, no, no. I just wanted to say thank you for standing up for me back then. If not for you, my pretty fragile face would have become swollen and red." Tyler stated as she smiled at him.
'Is she trying to show off her beauty in front of me? And what's wrong with this body, was he denied of love all his life or why is my heart fluttering so much at her statement.'
"Did something happen when I was on stage?" Bob asked.
"It's nothing to worry about, it's just some random people who are frustrated by the way things are going on presently." Alex replied.
He couldn't blame those men or anyone who thought his former self was a cheat who deceived people into believing he was clean and innocent, instead he blamed the one who had caused all this to happen.
'I promise you thomas, you'll pay for everything you've done.'
They were out of the arena and that's when a specific group of people started approaching them from the side.
"Are you guys going out?"
The fellow who asked the question turned out to be the man Tyler slapped on the cheek a couple of moments ago. Beside him were two more males with similar hair colour and body structure to his; thin, medium height, and blonde hairs. They almost look like triplets except that they have different faces and weren't from the same parents.
The name of the man was Carl, while the two boys behind him were Pan and Lee.
"How is that any of your concern?" Tyler replied with annoyance.
"I know we have a bad blood between us, and since there's a probability we might become teammates in the future, I will like us to settle this once and for all. You slapped me, so it's only right if I slap mine back, or what do you say?"
