⚠️ Contains intense stuffs! Read at your own risks! ⚠️

The following incident happened during the battle of Black Cat Pirates vs The Strawhat Pirates in an alternate universe!

The fight was going all well, until a certain weird man with weird sunglasses decided to bring forth his masterpiece and hypnotize his men. Unknown to him, he had not only hypnotized his own men but the most powerful person among them.

That person, or that kid, had been associated with mystery since forever. And forever here doesn't refer to the past years since he has been reborn. No, forever here means since the boy was born to the mother sea and his almighty father.

He was known to be one of the kindest gods, always smiling and sharing the laughter and happiness to all, but he doesn't always smile. If he doesn't smile then you better accept your fate. The humans feared his wrath, the animals looked up to him knowing him as one of the source for their survival. Wicked men tried to take control of him but didn't realize the gap between their strength and died in vain from either his scorching heat or the disasters he brought.

Jango, the man with weird glasses hadn't realized what he was doing, but the nature and his will didn't even allow the man to understand what wrath he had brought on humanity. He had hypnotized the god and told him to release his wrath, to let anger take over, to be stronger than ever.

The first sign of his awakening was the weird beating of drums resounding on the area, which started growing louder and louder and louder and louder and louder. It was painful for his enemies to hear to the point that blood would start dripping from their burst eardrums while it was somewhat soothing for his allies.

But the next calamity was not something that could differentiate between enemies and allies. The next calamity, the sign of his wrath fell on all the Gecko Islands, before spreading and crashing into the entirety of the East Blue. Lightnings cackled and roared in the skies, crashing on the unfortunates in the morning where the sun's rays and shine had been soothing and calming.

Lightnings mercilessly thundered, announcing there wrath to the poor people who were working or even laying without a care of the world. One second everything was quiet and next the biggest storm the world has ever faced or recorded in the history had appeared.

People were running like cattles left on the mercy of a predator. But that comparison would have been way too merciful for them, because it wasn't a predator out there to kill people mercilessly but a God showing his wrath due to his early awakening, unknowingly. That was the only reason why the disasters that would be experienced now would be merciful compared to what it could have been if it was directed.

If the lightnings and the roaring clouds were not enough, then the bloody sky which was turning crimson as if it wasn't rain which would drop the next second but blood, was draping the sky. The temperature which by all rights should have fallen, was rising at a dead fast rate, making it difficult for so many people to even take a breath than to run from the destruction which was chasing them. The scorching heat was clawing at their throats painfully, wanting to tear it apart from within.

The water was starting to withdraw from the shore at an alarming rate.

No one knew what was happening anymore. Precisely a second ago there was clear sky, tranquil clouds floating aimlessly in the sky, birds chirping, and people doing their daily works. When the sky turned dark red, people didn't even stop to think something. After all, it was the East Blue and no one had seen something as spectacular as the crimson clouds which were hanging in the sky. It was a nightmare that no one could wake up from. Those who were luckily died quickly ending their nightmare before it became torture.

It was only for the lightning to cackle in the midst of their observation, which freaked people out. After all, who wouldn't? When the lightning fell directly on the ground, before running and destroying properties. This was already worse than what they had ever experienced even if it was just the beginning!

The cries of children, the screams of adults and the heart wrenching sobs of parents soon started littering each and every corner of the East Blue. The fear which people felt encompassing them was overwhelming.

"Has the God abandoned us?" People cried looking at the skies, which wanted nothing more than their lives.

A faint laughter with the beatings of drum echoed throughout the East Blue, which would have brought smiles on every one of the beings, but it was not enough. Instead of laughter and joy, it brought horror. Who was laughing at their pain? Who was evil enough to bring doomsday to their lives and laugh?!

"GOD! HELP US!"

"God, please, we need you!"

People cried, as some chose to run to churches, to kneel down and pray, pray for the Gods to protect them and the calamity to be over soon. They prayed and prayed until they were taken away from the very churches where they thought they might be safe... Most weren't praying to the right Gods even. Lost were the names of righteous to the history of humanity 800 years old.

The name of the Gods were on the tongue of several people as they prayed from their soul and heart for the eclipse to fade, to calm down. They had lost many in the past minute, they couldn't afford to see more dead bodies or injured ones.

'When would it be finally over?!' People questioned the ones in heaven in agony.

But alas! No place on the East Blue was safe anymore, expect the place where the entity had woken up and had jumped down to crush the ones who had awakened him. The laughter only increased, the hypnotist ceased to exist and couldn't release the entity from his hypnosis anymore.

It didn't help that at some places there were already storms and rainfall going on. Those places suffered the worst.

Places where storms had already encompassed some islands even before the arrival of the calamity, the storms turned murderous, forming cyclones and hurricanes, taking people off their feet and the grounds and throwing them mercilessly to their doomed deaths. If they would be lucky enough to be not picked up, then the falling debris was doing the honors of ending their life.

The Islands where rain was falling as a blessing turned into a curse, as water level rose higher and higher and higher and higher, drowning or rather galloping the one floor houses which were common in East Blue. Flash floods mercilessly destroyed and killed the flora and fauna, taking everything in their path to the ocean who was ready to drown them in her depths. Children got swept away before the eyes of helpless parents who could do nothing as they heard their children scream in fear as they were taken to their watery grave.

Regions where the scorching temperature had risen to a disastrous level with air going frightening dry, had lightning crashed on the trees, which soon escalated into wildfires within a second, leaving people in the mercy of fires which would incinerate them with a single lick. They had no option to even run away! Even the rain which was dripping on them was teasing them as it couldn't cease the fire. Behind them were cliffs, which would lead to them to the trashing ocean and before them stood the very incarnation of devil in form of the hellish fire which was madly rushing for their lives. They could hear the screams of agony, the cries of the family for their beloved ones, the burning of fire and the distant laughter of the predator.

Volcanoes which were declared dead and inactive, which weren't supposed to erupt, erupted throwing lava in their wake as it ran down to the scrambling people who dared try to run. It blasted through the Earth's crust as if responding to the call of whichever God was out there angry on them. The liquid lava ran madly to the people who could only cry in sheer pain of their body burning, melting, and turning to dust. Deadly explosions hit the people who were ahead. The volcanoes, which were demanding respect burnt everything in its tantalizing massacre.

Pain, fear, agony, distress and despair spread in each and every corner of the East Blue as lightning cackled madly, the winds flew wildly, the fires crackled horrendously, the floods snatched lives mercilessly, the volcanoes left beasts to massacre, and the cyclones and hurricanes ruthlessly crushed the petty excuse of living beings- marines, pirates, civilians, animals and plants.

The five minutes storms, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, cyclones and so many natural disasters which had erupted disappeared leaving people crushed under its wake.

Back at the Island the perpetrator stood laughing in anger and pain. He had turned white as snow or as white as the clouds on a bright day, but his face only showed true malice powered by anger and grief. His eyes were as red as the skies above-as wide as they could ever be! His arms were raised above his head letting the disasters mercilessly take the lives of anyone whom they could find.

The crew of the said entity or God stood in shock. The orange haired lady crying in fear, and the green haired swordsman trying to protect the crew, disbelief leaking from his very self at the sight of the god? demon? he had decided to follow.

The sharpshooter had run to his village, the high temperature making it difficult for him to keep running. The village was burning, people were screaming for help as most of the houses were collapsing, leaving them trapped in the rubble.

Two children were trying to save their friend from the debris under which he was trapped under. Usopp stopped in his path as he heard the cries and pleas of help coming from his little crew which he had formed. He rushed to them seeing Piman and Ninjin trying to rescue Tamanegi who was trapped under the debris.

Usopp had told the children lots of stories about his strength and his heroic deeds. He couldn't leave them on their own once they spotted him.

With tears in his eyes, Usopp worked with the remaining of the Usopp pirates to remove the debris of one of the people who followed him regardless of his tall tales.

But Usopp wasn't strong enough. He kept on shouting for Tamanegi to answer him but there was no voice. He can't be late! He just couldn't be too late!

"TAMANEGI! PLEASE ANSWER! YOUR CAPTAIN USOPP WILL GET YOU OUT, SO YOU BETTER NOT GIVE UP!" Usopp shouted hoping that the child could hear him above the cruel lightning, laughter and drum beat.

Eventually Zoro had arrived and used his strength to remove the pile by cutting it into smaller pieces.

The body of Tamanegi was found. The BODY not the SOUL!!! Tamanegi had died.

The rest of the Usopp pirates cried like there was no tomorrow.

Back at the shore, Nika stood still feeling everything that was happening. Streams of tears left his scarlet eyes. He didn't want to hurt anyone, didn't, didn't want to lose control. He was begging in his head for someone to stop him, to even kill him. Please..! He can't take it anymore. He can't.

Suddenly a massive wave came out of the water, engulfing Nika. He felt so relieved as he was swallowed whole and taken to the ocean- to his mother (Can he call her that after what he had done?)- to break out of the hypnosis.

Suddenly the wind calmed down, the temperature stopping increasing, and the calamities ceased to exist. Luffy, no. Nika, no. The devil had been subdued.

"It's over," Someone mumbled, as tears flooded through their eyes. "It's over. EVERYTHING'S GONE!" The man cried in sheer pain, as he carried his dead daughter and kissing her crown. She died while sleeping when their house crumbled to dust. At least she went out without pain.

"They're gone," A woman cried as her legs finally refused to carry her. "They're gone." She repeated as she curled up on herself. The images of her children being taken away by the flash flood fresh in her memory. The waters had claimed everything which was once hers. Why? WHY DID THE GODS DO THIS?! WHAT DID THEY EVEN DO?! FOR FUCK'S SAKE THEY WERE CHILDREN! Innocent children!

"Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?" A fiver year child cried as her small bleeding body slowly moved past the people who were looking for their loved ones. She had been separated from her family when they were trying to run to the shore to leave the Island.

"I'm scared!" A four year old whimpered as he held the dead body of his father, who had cast his child aside from the path of the rock which had rushed to claim his life. The boy still didn't know why his father wasn't moving as he held his hands and shook his chest.

The five minutes of abrupt disaster which had befallen on the entirety of the East Blue had felt as if it had been going for hours or rather days. The sheer damage which had occurred during those wretched five minutes were equivalent to years' worth of destruction.

The people left to live could still hear the laughter in their mind, blaming everything to 'the devil who laughed'. The Gods had left them to die, to be destroyed..! What did they do wrong?!

Life is fragile and that was what got ingrained in the minds of those who were left behind to suffer, wail and dig graves for their loved ones. The feeling of utter helplessness which had encompassed people during those five minutes, where there was literally no place to run, was crushing their wills and hopes.

After everything ended, it truly felt the end of everything. The grounds were flat. There were only a few houses which were left standing. What was once a sign of humanity present in the Islands were nowhere to see in some places. Everything was crushed to the ground. What people built, their reputation, their fame, their money, their humanity. Everything was gone by the end of those tantalizing five minutes.

No one could have predicted these disasters. Not even the most experienced sailors and the most knowledgeable scientists.

But the worst part of it was, that it wasn't over. One might think that after the disasters what more is left to come? There are plenty of things which are left to come. Starvation was just one of the tantalizing agonies which would fall on those who suffered.

Even after days, when the news coo started circulating news to the parts of the destroyed East Blue, people were seen suffering, mourning for their loved ones and starving. Crimes started increasing as people didn't have anything. Several were homeless, at a loss of what they need to do.

Many needed medical assistance but due to the lack of doctors several perished in pain and agony.

The newspapers declared that East Blue, one of the weakest of the seas, experienced a storm which had never been seen throughout the history of the seven seas. It was one of the shortest yet one of the, if not, the most devastating natural disasters.

But almost no one believed it was natural because the laughter wasn't laughter. It couldn't have been natural!

Marines were trying to help people, but they were also in need of help, as only one or two Marine bases stood standing in the entirety of the East Blue. Food supplies were cut short, animals had perished or being taken away by the floods or the fires. Fresh water was something many haven't seen for days. Several people were still buried under rubles waiting to be rescued or dying due to suffocation.

Many had been rendered homeless. They had no place to go with no money in their hands. The only option which they could see where the dangerous forests where they weren't sure if they could keep themselves in one piece from the starving beasts which came victorious against the nature's wrath.

Many children were declared orphan, having no parents who survived the wrath. Some didn't even know if their families were out there alive.

Agonizing smell of rotting bodies, and burning of corpses could be smelled on each Island. Some were suffering from mental breakdown, unable to handle anything anymore.

The scene was so scary that it couldn't even be explained properly on the newspapers.

This event was hence called 'The Laugh of the Devil!'.

A/n:

Many of you readers might be wondering why we have posted such a chapter. Some might think nothing of it, but some might really wonder the 'why' behind it. And some might even know why.

But the first question before all of it is, how many of you have listened to the 'Global Crisis' by 'Creative Society'?

I and Decoy made this chapter after hearing to them. Whatever we described in the chapter is real. People are dying and places were disasters weren't supposed to come, are littering with them.

Some might blame it all on Global Warming but the real cause is not that. It's the cosmic cycle which happens every 24,000 years and we are going through this phase. Some might ask if this happens every 24,000 years then why to be afraid? We will be back to normal, right?

But no, this time it will be though. Since this cosmic cycle was always cooled down by the ocean... But in today's modern world we have killed the ocean. The plastics that we use have hampered the ocean and is making it warm, which as a result is unable to cook down the lava under the crust and leading to natural disasters.

I don't want to rant here, but we would like you all to hear 'Global Crisis' by 'Creative Society'. It's available in YouTube.

And those who don't want to hear the 7 hours lecture, just remember to not use plastic. That's the least you can do to save our planet which can be extinct by 2036.

Sorry for making everyone sad on this Sunday, but this issue needed to be talked about.

For more information you can always text me or Decoy, we will try our best to reply.

Have a good day/ night!
