I was tired already, the day seemed slow and really annoying. The detention guy, whatever his name is; I don't know kept sending me love letters. I kept rolling my eyes and trashing the papers when he wasn't looking. That was two days ago and since today, I've been expecting more but I haven't seen any.
"Hey" I whispered.
He turned "uhmm..." he looked worried.
"What's wrong?"
"I just realized that... that I don't deserve you"
"Says who?"
"No one needs to say it, I know"
"What's the idea of all these, huh?"
"I don't get you" he replied, dryly.
"Oh! I see. Kiara has finally agreed to you and then I'm of no use anymore, right? You know..."
"I... that's not..."
"Let me talk" I shut him up.
He nodded.
"You know what? I really don't care. I was just so stupid because I knew you had feeling for Kiara but as foolish as I could be I... well, I never liked you... I guess it's... bye"
"But Al..."
"Shut up already. I don't..."
"Alexis" I was interrupted, I turned and the math teacher signaled to me to come. I thought he called me cuz I was talking to Raymond, the supposed detention guy, I was in for trouble or something but I was asked to go to class.
As I walked into class, the expression written on everyone's face was shock and surprise. I was also surprised too, the math teacher never changes his mind. I was meant to stay there for a week but in just two days, he released me.
Only Jayden wasn't shocked, he wore a bright smile on his face and I sat next to him.
"Sweetie, I missed seeing you around" he planted a quick kiss on my cheek
"You're not surprised I'm here?"
"Nahh"
"Why?"
"I bailed you out" he smirked.
"Oh! pleeze" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm serious, sweetie"
"How did you do it?"
"You don't have to know"
"But I need to know"
"One thing you should always know is that Jayden always gets what he wants"
"I need an explanation, dude"
