"Ah! What am I suppose to do?!? I know that it's just a game but I don't want to die!"
I hit the ground in frustration.
"I'm sure that I'm facing these monsters because of the NPC group! Maybe the game registered me as a group and sent a stronger wave of monsters my way?"
I couldn't understand why I had to face a stampede this strong. In the past, most players said that the monsters they fought were close to their level but I'm not even fighting monster in the same rank!
As I pondered on what to do next, I felt a surge of power right outside the dome. I realized that the 10 minutes must have passed. I created a crystallized shield and braced for impact.
The dome shattered and I was sent flying back. I wrapped myself around in crystal armor. It shattered the moment I slammed into the tree.
My armor remained undamaged even though the crystal one was gone. I catched my breathe and looked up. A menacing vampire stood in front of me, about 10 feet away.
The vampire wore the bare minimum. He had a tattered shirt on with long suit like pants. He wore no shoes and had blue eyes with blonde hair. Just like in the stories, the vampire was a rather handsome bastard.
"You're a weird human, human."
I stayed silent. Something told me to keep quiet as he spoke. As he looked at me, he suddenly bared his fangs towards me.
"You are definitely weak. Like most humans, your body is fragile. If I wanted to I could have killed you before you knew it."
He moved and slashed at my arm, drawing blood. He started sniffing the air around me.
"Hmmm. But your blood, it smells wonderful. Are you a virgin perhaps? Or maybe you're a god in disguise?"
I shook my head. The vampire frowned when he saw me shake my head. He grabbed me by the neck and hoisted me into the air.
"Then what the hell are you?! Why do you look like a weakling but my body keeps on telling me to run away?! From a human like you?!"
I struggled to break free so I took my sword back out and flashed it in front of the vampire. He just stared at it and laughed. He threw me off to the side like garbage.
"Well, whatever you are. I'm sure I can kill you without any issues. But I want to have fun with you first. You alone made me lose so many soldiers."
I looked up and saw his eyes. They've turned red and were glowing. I felt my body shiver. It was like a predator was looking down on me. Behind him were a few more pairs of red glowing eyes. Flying above us all was the zombified dragon. I gulped, I can guess who this is but I wanted to make sure.
"Uhm. Are you the vampire that's been killing the people in town?"
"Oh ho. So you humans did notice the missing kids. I thought you guys were just selfish, arrogant brats. I did, I fed on those kids. I needed the strength after we were all left for dead."
He pointed at the group behind him.
"The bastard that brought us here, abandoned us. Now we have to continue the mission on our own. We would have died if we didn't come across that first kid."
He sighed and smiled, as if he was reminiscing on the kid's death. Shit, that annoys me. Before I knew it, my body moved on it's own. I used Bame Mortem and aimed to cut his head off. He stopped the sword with his hands, holding onto it tightly.
"Ahaha! Does it annoy you? That kid died for our sake! You shouldn't be mad! He died for a good cause!"
The other vampires laughed. The dragon continued to circle around us from above. The vampire looked like he had an idea.
"I know! Let's have a duel! Just you and me! You can avenge that kid if you win! If I win…"
He smacks his lips together. A slight bit of drool drips from his mouth.
"I'll drain you of all your blood."
He already made his move, not allowing me to prepare. He lets go of the sword and kicked my hand, I naturally dropped the sword. He then picked it up and threw it towards a tree.
"No need for weapons!"
He came out me with full force. He punched me as I crossed my hands together to protect myself. When he hit, I felt something crack in my left wrist.
'He was too quick. I couldn't even use the crystal armor.'
I could only try to use Beelzebub. I might be able to slightly heal myself. I immediately formed a layer of crystal shield around my arms, making sure that the one around my wrist had extra protection.
I ran towards the vampire and he met me half way. We started to fight it out.
He threw a high kick with his left leg, aiming for my face. I blocked it and threw my own high kick with my left leg. Instead of blocking it, he just let me hit him.
It hit but he showed no signs of pain. He didn't groan or flinch at all. He just smiled and held onto my ankle. He made a cut and let some of the blood drip into his hand. I break free and jump back. He sips the blood.
"Mhmmm AH! Refreshing honestly."
He wiped the blood from his mouth and came out me once more. I create a layer of crystal armor over my legs so he wouldn't be able to cut it. I activated the Ophis Anguis Legacy and coated my arms with a poisonous fog.

We both met in the middle once again, exchanging blows. I would kick and punch whenever I could. Taking every opportunity to do damage to the vampire.
The vampire just took the hits, laughing as if it was tickling him. He would respond with stronger hits. Punches that I couldn't handle, kicks that were in unblockable.
By the end of it, my armor was gone. My right arm specifically was in tatters. It would seem that the vampire didn't want me to use my sword anymore.
I stepped back, hoping for a chance to escape. The vampire just smirks as he licks the blood off of himself.
"That was quite the battle. You're definitely strong for a human, but compared to an immortal vampire, you stood no chance! HAHAHA!!"
As he was laughing, I took this chance to run. I turned and ran, not even daring to look back. I ran towards the path that led back towards town.
'Who cares if I don't get a reward. I can't beat someone like that on my own!'
I kept running with no one stopping me. I knew that he was most likely taunting me this way but it didn't matter. I needed to escape.
Just as I was about to reach the path, a blur appeared before me. I then felt a strong force hit me in the stomach. The force sent me flying backwards.
I flew and hit the ground, I kept rolling until my body stopped on its own. I look to see who it was. It was the damn vampire.
"HAHAHA! Did you think that I would let you leave? Your precious blood is ours!"
My body was in pain. I was low on mana, my stamina was almost out and none of my attacks did anything to him. I guess this will be my first in game death.
I look back at the vampire and see him waving something at me. I look closer and see that it was an arm. I look to my right… it was my arm. He ripped off my right arm!
"AHHHH!!!"

Roman passes out almost instantly after he realizes that his arm was gone. The shock and the blood lost got to him.
The vampire just laughs has he slurps the blood from the arm.
"I should keep you alive for a while human! You make an excellent blood mule!"
The vampire moves instantaneously towards Roman. His fast movements showed that he was just playing around with him the entire time.
The vampire, heals Roman and stops his blood.
"I can't reattach your arm but I can at least stop you from dying."
He turns to the other vampires.
"Let's move! We need to complete the mission! Only then we can return home!"
As the other vampires celebrate with him, a new powerful aura appears. Everyone stopped and stayed silent. The leading vampire also stopped. This was the first time he has felt this way since coming to the human continent.
"Who-?"
Just before he could finish, the zombified dragon came crashing down from the sky. It's head was ripped from it's body. The other vampires began to cry out in fear.
"How?!"
"Who? Who did it?! That dragon was an Advanced Rank!"
The vampire leader also began looking around, his eyes finally fell on Roman.
'Did that human do this? How though?'
As he tried to answer his own question, he saw a weird shadow in between him and the human. He slowly looks up at the sky to see if the shadow had an owner.
Up in the sky, there was an old man just floating in the air. He was too far up for the vampire to make out his face but he felt one thing. He turned and yelled at the other vampires.
"A High Ranked Saint!!! Get out of here!!!"
