I can think about all of that later. I will let future Roman deal with it.
"What happened after master? Did the four of them unite the world together?"
Master Ark just shakes his head.
"I do not know. After they defeated the last Divine Beast, they disappeared. The world had finally obtained peace but we could no longer celebrate it with our saviors. For nearly 10 years, we mourned their loss."
As sad as that seemed, those gods are here now. So there obviously isn't a sad ending here. Master Ark peaked at me, as if he was gauging my reaction.
"Tch, you could tear up a bit boy. The human also disappeared."
Seeing that I showed no care for his words, he continued on with the story.
"Anyways, something happened on the 10th anniversary of their disappearance. All four leaders of the different races received a voice transmission. The voices belonged to their respected Gods. The Man God, Demon God, Beast God and Elf Goddess had returned to explain everything to them."
"The Elf Goddess created a new realm for the four of them to reside in. Apparently, after they killed the final Divine Beast, their bodies began to show signs of change. The four realized that their bodies were releasing a huge amount of mana. Now natural mana was good for the world and it's people but an overabundance of it may lead to world ending changes. The Elf Goddess created a new realm for them to reside in so that they would not bring in any more unnecessary changes and so they began to live as Gods, guiding their people through the leaders."
Damn, so they were so strong that they needed to create an entire new realm to live in. I guess taking them on and trying to take their powers aren't a realistic choice. Could I befriend them then?
"HA! Ya impressed boy? This is what happens when you lived a sheltered life on the human continent! The Man God would never-."
It seemed that Master Ark was going to say more but he suddenly stopped. He grabbed his drink and downed it all in one go.
"AHHH! HAHA! What am I talking about? The alcohol is kicking in! HAHA!"
I look at Master Ark in confusion. He kept drinking the alcohol without paying any attention to me.
'It looks like there is more to this story than just what master told me. I guess I will have to figure it out on my own.'
Suddenly, a quest appears.

'Shit. I'm not surprised honestly. In these fantasy type stories, the human leader always has some evil plan brewing on the side.'
I press accept and turn my attention back to Master Ark.
"That was interesting Master Ark, but what about the dwarves? You told me that you would talk about them as well."
He takes another sip of his drink and slams it down.
"Ah! You're right! Let me tell ya boy."
"The Elf Continent was once home to three different groups. The Dwarves, the Elves and the Fairies. These three lived in peace for thousands of years until the Elves showed their true colors."
"The Elves were always known as the peaceful group, they stayed away from conflict but this time they initiated it. The Elf King launched an all out assault on the Dwarves."
Master Ark actually paused for a moment. I could see a glint in his eye. He sniffed and continued.
"The Dwarves were overwhelmed. It wasn't because we were weak. There's a reason why the name Drogan is passed through our family, but we just weren't prepared. We didn't know about their existence."
"The Elves had formed an alliance with the Vampire Race. This caught not just us but the entire world by surprise. The Vampire Race had been banished from the Demon Continent for 'immoral behaviors that endangered others'. They vanished for years and suddenly reappeared as allies to the peaceful Elves."
Oh? That definitely smells fishy. Who knew that this game had such a deep backstory.
"The Vampires were weak to the sun but at night, they were unstoppable. A few days after the Elves attacked, the Vampires made their presences known by completely ravaging a major city that had military value. Everyone was killed, not a single Dwarf lived that night."
Master Ark pours himself another cold one and chugs it down. He wipes his mouth with his arm and pours himself another one. He then looks at me with a pitiful look.
"My grandfather, King Drogan II immediately struck a deal with the Demon King the next day. The Demon King felt responsible for the Vampires so he accepted his proposal. The proposal stated that he would accept all the dwarf citizens and in turn, my grandfather would protect the demon army until they evacuated everyone."
Master's glass shatters, a hint of bloodthirst escapes from him. It would seem that this was difficult for him to speak about.
"King Drogan II left the capital city after he heard the demon king's promise. He gave instructions for his general and left in search of the Elf army. It took him only a few hours to find the army. That day, King Drogan II faced off against an army of 10,000 Elves and a platoon of 200 vampires. Using his unique God Forge Flames Legacy, he obliterated his enemies. Turning the army into nothing but ashes."
His hand was bleeding but master didn't stop to clean it up. It seemed as if he was in a trance. Ranting and letting everything out.
"But he didn't live! HE died that day! That fucken general betrayed us and killed my grandfather! Not only that, he had to kill my grandmother before he left the capital! If it wasn't for my uncle who saved my father that day, he would of died since he was only an infant!"
"Master!! Please!! I can't..."
At this point, I couldn't breathe anymore. Master's bloodthirst overwhelmed me. I don't know what his rank is but he's no pushover.
"Ah! Sorry boy! It looks like I let my emotions get the best of me!"
I finally feel the pressure subside as master regains his composure. I try to change the subject of the conversation since it wouldn't be good for him to get angry again.
"It's okay master," I walk up and look at the furnace. "Can I craft the same way you dwarves craft?"
Sensing what I was doing, master gets up and follows me.
"You might be able to, however-."
I watch as master goes on a rant about blacksmithing. It would seem that his mind has been at least distracted by changing the subject. As I listen to him, another quest suddenly pops up.
