"Kiddos, you're not going to laze in bed all day anyway", the teenage girls heard their mother calling them as Leïla stood up wiping the tears that stained her face.
Her eyes are red and puffy and her face is swollen, but she certainly feels more reassured after Bella gives her that comforting speech.
Bella nodded before standing up as well and Leila stared at her for a moment.
"Where did you get that cheesy dress from?" Leïla was curious to know where her sister found this kind of old stuff.
"Well, my clothing was light so a lady from the club lent me this dress" Bella replied candidly and then they went to the bathroom to clean up a bit. After making sure to have a slightly more correct expression, they went down to join their parents.
Their father is sitting around the dining table while the mother is cooking breakfast. The two girls just took their places in silence.
"Hello, my Princesas" Their father greeted them with a soft smile and they waved back.
"Why are you looking so gloomy? It looked like you were crying," their father said as Bella stroked her fingers.
She lowered her head not wanting to answer and it is finally Leïla who did.
"Ah, we watched a sad movie last night and frankly, it made us cry so much that we couldn't hold back" Leïla lied while Bella squeezed her fingers tighter, blushing at the pressure.
Her mother noticed it before coming to grab her hand.
"Mi amor, look what you're doing, you're ruining your fingers" she spoke worriedly and Bella just swallowed.
She doesn't want to lie and doesn't like to do it. But in a single day and less than an hour, she lied to her sister and now to her parents.
She is becoming a loser.
Their father sighed before speaking.
"If you're so emotive, then stop watching these kinds of movies. Look at your faces, you're heartbreaking to see." Their father lectures them while Leïla continues to play the game but Bella does not feel well.
She feels like a tangle in her stomach and wants to vomit.
"Bella, are you sure you're okay? You're so pale it looks like you're going to throw a fit", the mom asks worriedly before Bella straightens up.
She looks at Leïla who gives her a desperate look and decides to pull herself together.
"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just tired. The movie session ended very late" Bella bites her lip telling the lie and Leïla feels her heart twist in pain.
She has just perverted her so pure sister.
The parents nodded before Leïla decided to change the subject.
Bella already feels uncomfortable enough as it is, don't put too much pressure on her.
"Fine, if that's all. Tell us how that family reunion went," Leïla asked, not interested since she already knows the answer. It was only a meeting between adults but she already knows from her memories of the big family meetings with her cousins how much these events are real pains in the asses.
She listens, however, so as not to seem disinterested since she is the one who raised the question.
Bella calmed down a bit, finding a way to forget the turmoil in her heart.
"Ah, don't ask me such obvious questions, mi amor. You already know the answer. It was awful" the mother complained while the father just smiled.
"Ah, you're exaggerating carinõ, it wasn't as horrible as you want to say" The man tried to temper his wife with a soft and measured voice but she exploded pouring into a tumult of emotions.
"Am I exaggerating? Ah, between Tìa Graciella who has not stopped breaking our ears with her son who has just entered a prestigious university abroad", she stopped while going to get the dishes for her girls. Bella got up to help her set the table while listening to her speak.
"or even tìo Kenzo who only drank because he lost a large sum of money in his gambles. But the worst is Tìa Marisa, she arrived late and upset everything in her path", the woman spoke while Leïla rolled her eyes answering her mother.
"Anyway, she's crazy so it's not surprising that she acts like this" Leïla said carelessly, being scolded by her father.
"No Chica, for once your Tìa was right to be in such a state" Leïla and Bella raised their heads at their mother's sentence. What had she just said? She accepted that Tìa Marisa, whom she doesn't like very much, could have been right on a subject.
Maybe it was going to snow soon in Acalpuc*. When the mother saw the looks of her daughters, she just smiled before speaking.
"It's your cousin, Lucia, she was already slutty enough as she was opening her legs here and there, but at this level it's disgusting. Who knows how many sexual diseases she caught" The woman spoke, twisting her face in disgust " But there is worse, can you imagine that she finally got pregnant and doesn't even know who the father is? I would never like to be in Tìa Marisa's place, what a shame to have such a daughter"
The mother of the family has finished speaking before everyone turns around at the sound of a dish breaking. They looked up to see Bella, her hands shaking and her face pale.
It looked like she had just seen a ghost.
"Princesa? Are you okay?" The father asked and Bella swallowed her stomach which managed to unravel earlier starting to tug at her chest again.
She wants to cry.
