Remram suddenly vanishes and reappears behind the guard, attaching string-like cords to the guard.
The guard seems to glitch in reality, like the fabric of space-time was distorted. The guard collapses to the ground, unconscious.
"What the hell?" Quinn exclaimed in shock, poking at the now blacked-out guard.
"He's just glitched out, he'll be fine without a scratch and no memory of us." Remram quietly explained, signaling Quinn to hurry to the briefcase's location.
They walk out the door, clear their corners, and approach the entrance of the door.
"There are people inside, I can't hack all of them, so what do we do?" Remram asked. Holding out four fingers to indicate how many people are there.
"Ugh, is this your way of saying use my powers to get it?" Quinn asked, slouching over with his hand turning pitch black.
Remram silently nodded in agreement before saying, "The briefcase is in the middle, it should be obvious to see. I'll stay here guarding."
Quinn then rips a hole in the dark dimension. He enters the shadowy ripple and disappears.
He teleports into the room, rendering the reinforced door useless, but fails to notice the thin laser detection system, almost invisible to the naked eye.
The room is a control panel with monitors in the same area as the security room.
Walking through, he located the four people inside the room and waited for the right time to open a ripple to grab the briefcase.
He rips open a ripple and hastily snatches the briefcase, and silently retreats into the shadows without any of the guards noticing.
"Guess what I have!" Quinn presents the briefcase to Remram, who is impressed.
"Great job, that took a short time. You must be very adept at disabling laser traps, huh?" Remram asked, grabbing the briefcase and making it disappear.
"Wait, traps?"
The sound alarms echoed in the distance, and the whole building radiated with a red glow. An audio cue plays repeatedly saying, "Intruders have breached the control panel. All units apprehended them. Reinforcements are coming."
"Take responsibility dumbass." Remram roared. The look of disappointment on her face was directed at Quinn.
"Could you have worded that differently to sound like I won't be a father to a loli like you?" Quinn wailed out jokingly while sprinting alongside Remram.
Guards emerged from the corners, with Quinn shooting them one by one with his revolver. The guards retaliated by shooting at the two, but as per usual they have stormtrooper aim.
"Aren't you going to help?" Quinn grabs the annoyed Remram to run out of the area.
"Why should I clean up your mess, lazy bum?" Remram complained.
"Ug, you're so difficult to work with! Also, I'm not a bum!" A dark aura engulfs Quinn's hand, producing some type of orb.
Quinn throws the orb at the wall, and the entire area is slowly overtaken by darkness, giving them enough time to escape from the guards, and out of a door that leads to an exit.
They stopped abruptly when they kicked the exit door open.
"Hold it there, we have you surrounded." A man declared, with many guards surrounding them.
Guards were everywhere, with some being stationed on the ground, while others were on rooftops, ready to blow their brains out with snipers.
Helicopters, tanks, and armored vehicles surround the area.
"How the hell did reinforcements get here so damn quickly? Let alone so many of them?" Quinn asked, leaving him in a state of disbelief and dumbfounded.
"Hey, so, can you buy me some time to hack into the mainframe of an orbital contraption?" Remram asked discreetly, opening multiple digital screens.
"Let us see how this turns out," Quinn says cockingly, priming up his revolver.
When they retaliate with fire, Remram creates obstacles such as large rocks behind which they can hide.
Quinn uses a black hole with his left hand to absorb the bullets coming their way and eliminates the snipers on the roof first. He then seemingly teleports around by teleporting to the shadows of the guards to catch them by surprise and kill them.
Remram creates obstacles around her, leaving small spaces for her to hack into helicopters or tanks to crash into one another. She puts a virus on a tank to kill its allies while locating and hacking inside an orbital machine.
After a bit, reinforcements came in with multiple mechs to help eliminate Quinn and Remram.
But it was too late. Remram hacked into the orbital machine, sending a large orbital strike to the building and the mechs.
"H-Hey! We done here?" Quinn panted, falling due to exhaustion and fatigue. He has received a few minor injuries, yet still sustainable in the outfit Remram gave him.
"Y-Yeah! Good shit!" Remram panted, signaling the plane to get them ASAP.
Both blacked out from heat strokes from the sun's radiation in the desert, but the plane came on time to pick them up and send them to the clinic back to the agency.
