"Quinn, if you don't see me again, I am dead. We are counting on you to avenge our loved ones, just as I am trying to do so right now. Don't let anything stop you from becoming the finest soldier you can be, and bringing [REDACTED] down!"
Quinn hallucinates a shadowy but familiar figure, with him protruding warm and vivid colors surrounded by nothingness. With the hoarse voice of an older man.
"Quinn, did you hear me? Quinn!"
"QUINN! WAKE UP YOU DRINK-ADDICTING BASTARD!" Eres yelled, slamming down an elbow at Quinn's stomach to wake him up completely.
"HCK! I'M UP, I'M AWAKE!"
Quinn groans in pain, cradled up like an armadillo.
"Did he stay up working on something?" A soft, silvery voice asked.
Having recovered from the agonizing pain, Quinn looks into his room to see who else is present. He notices Eres and Remram talking amongst each other.
"I don't know, ask him yourself," Eres replied to Remram, glaring at Quinn who was on the ground next to his rifle, two revolvers, and an abundance of bullets.
Quinn sits up, scratching his head in annoyance.
"If you really want to know, I stayed up and just finished working on a project I was working on."
Quinn presents the guns and bullets he'll be using for the time being.
"I forgot he was an engineer before. Well, get ready, we are departing in a few minutes." Eres said, leaving the room hastily, followed by Remram.
"How annoying... But at least I can test these guys out."
Quinn quickly primes up his guns and fills up his magazines, suiting up with the outfit Remram provided him yesterday. He opens a rift into the dark dimension to store his guns and magazines, ready to go to war today, guns blazing.
After a few days of living here, Quinn has subconsciously memorized the layout of the Agency's HQ, and now knows where everything is located.
He walks out of his dorm, and down the halls to the route of the stairway to walk on the roof, only stopping to sneakily break into a vending machine and stock up on his beloved energy drinks.
"Over here," Remram waved at Quinn who had just walked up the stairs, sipping one of his stolen beverages.
Quin joins Remram in the aircraft carrier and buckles his safety belt.
"Hey, where is Eres?" Quinn asked as the aircraft ascended before flying.
"She is taking a different approach there." She replies, opening up a pack of bubble gum and plopping one inside her mouth.
Quinn nods as the aircraft speeds up, arriving at its designated location in an instant.
Quinn and Remram look at the large futuristic building. It was heavily guarded with armored vehicles, security outposts, and military weapons.
They deploy a ladder to exit the aircraft to carry on with the mission.
They descend into a slightly elevated hill with dense vegetation to mask their location. They set up camp, storing their weapons in the camp and equipping themselves with single-piece earphones and microphones to communicate with Eres.
"Hello, Eres, can you hear me?" Quinn asked, just verifying that the equipment wasn't faulty.
"Yes, loud and clear," Eres replied.
"Where are you? And when are we starting?" Quinn asked curiously.
"We'll start as soon as you see landing crafts deployed from the ocean," Eres stated.
Remram grabs 2 binoculars and hands Quinn a pair for him to inspect the sea. Off the distance lies an abundance amount of landing crafts with military personnel inside.
"I thought she said it'd just be us three."
Quinn looks at the sight in confusion, wondering if the military has personally come to help them.
"You're a newbie, so I can see why you reacted like this. But she has the Stella power of discord and strife. Able to summon and command battalions, fleets, and anything to her will. Those people you see there aren't real." Remram explained, with a digital aura around her hand to signal she was hacking into some machine or system.
Quinn nods, understanding now that Eres is to not be trifled with.
A few minutes passed, and with the crafts approaching closer and closer, a loud blaring sound alarm came from the targeted building. With an announcement of an invasion, and that all their reinforcements are coming.
During that announcement, the first craft landed, along with many more shortly after. Releasing a handful of armored men with rifles to battle against the largest slave trade organization in the world.
In retaliation, many mechs, armored vehicles, and personnel pop up from the building, creating somewhat of a wall with the vehicles. Creating a camp with a large number of stationary heavy weapons.
"That's our cue then." Quinn signaled, slowly getting into a prone position. "Let's go." Surveying the field, Quinn finally begins to focus, looking through the scope of his sniper, and making precise adjustments to the position of the weapon as he begins to discern the threats.
Multiple screens light up around Remram while her fingers dance across them.
With reinforcements on their way. Will Quinn and his three-person squad destroy the largest slave trade building to end it?
