Thankfully, as I'm getting closer to The Raven, I see Laurius stepping out of the building with Skye following behind him. They both look like they are dressed for some kind of rich fancy gothic party. And I must admit, they look devilishly good together.
Devilishly. Not the kind of word I thought I'd ever use to describe my best friend. But right now, she's giving off that kind of vibe.
"Skye!" I call out to her, running toward her and as soon as she sees me, she seems to take some kind of silent permission from Laurius before hurriedly walking to meet me while he moves on to the Limo packed out in front of the building.
"Kiva, what is wrong why do you look so pale?" She asks as she holds my hand, "You've been crying? Why—" She suddenly pauses and her expression quickly saddens as she seems to have realized why I'm like this. "You saw it." She says, like a question and a statement.
"You drew those pictures didn't you?" I ask her and she nods. "Wh—"
