He just stares at me blankly, "I mean you're the king. You have this very tall building all to yourself. I'd expect your room to be on the top floor. This floor is so down to earth."
"Well, I don't know. I just prefer this floor." He shrugs. "People love top floors because of the view I guess. But I do not need to stay on the top floor to get the view. Just a flap of my wings would get me the best view."
"I see." I stare out the window again. I keep forgetting that this is a different world. I've not seen his wings clearly, but I did see that of Lady Daliah, her dark wings, Gothically beautiful.
"But I do keep a room on the top floor." He suddenly says and pulls my attention back to him. "But she's up there and sometimes she plays very roughly. And other times, she has her claws out ready to attack."
