If he wasn't my enemy, and if I wasn't so angry at him for reasons I can't seem to put my finger on, I'll say Leonis Rein does know how to move a Lady's heart. Not that I'm saying he's moving mine or anything. I'm just trying to make a point.
I had thought that I'd be thrown into another of those extremely bulky ball gowns, but apparently he had personally given strict orders that my attire had to be elegant, enticing, bewitching—he's words not mine. But that it wasn't to be heavy, thick, tight and definitely not inconvenient. It seems he remembered my cry of discomfort very well.
Following his orders, I've been putting on and taking off different dresses that I would classify as egyptian style. They are beautiful, at least so the maids and the designers have been saying. But I can't help but think if I had a sewing machine, a pair of scissors and some pins, I'd make something even better.
Oh how I miss sewing and designing.
