KIVA'S POV
The wind… It is cold.
The night… is silent.
And my heart is like the two of them right now. Like the wind and the night. Cold and silent. Devoid of warmth, filled with pain.
"Do you need us to help you with anything else, My Lady?" The maid asks. I lazily wave my hand, gesturing that they can all leave. Quietly, they all step out of the room. And I'm alone again.
Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I wonder, is this me? Is this really me? I take my palm to my face and I run my fingers on my jawline. It is.
It is me.
The more I think about it, the angrier I get. And the angrier I get, the more I want to ruin him. I want to destroy him slowly. I want to see him in pain. I want to make him bleed slowly. I want to make him suffer for every tear, every blood, every sweat he has drawn out of me.
That beast of a man.
