Vittoria was still held in her cell, there was no sign of her waking up anytime soon. They were all hoping for Freya to wake up first so as to tell them what she knew.
That day Eder went with Grezia to see Freya at the hospital, after their breakfast and they were pleasantly surprised to see her awake. She was talking with Khan and seemed completely fine.
"Freya" Eder sat next to her with a relieved smile.
"Eder, you are really awake. I am so happy." she opened her arms to hug him and he hugged her tightly.
"I am glad to see you awake also" he said after pulling away. She smiled, but he could see she was a bit sad. "what is it?" he asked caressing her face gently.
"I failed to stop her" she said talking about Vittoria.
When she was in her coma, she met the guiding spirits again. She wondered why she was unable to stop Vittoria and they explained to her.
"we told you you had to make a choice." the woman on the left said.
