It was a few moments later that she managed to calm down. She felt stupid for breaking into a crying mess like this. She cleaned her tears while pulling away from his hold.
"I am sorry" she apologized.
"what for?" Eder asked gently cleaning away her tears. Why was he so gentle? His gentleness made her want to cry again but she managed to hold back.
"I don't know what got into me, I am usually not a cry baby" she said and laughed awkwardly.
"sure you are not" he replied and she nodded "but if you cried it means you needed it. You are strong. But being strong doesn't mean you cannot rest sometimes" he said so gently and this time she was unable to hold back her tears.
"I am so... tired" she cried again. She just really wanted to rest and forget the world. Forget the problems, the work, everything. She just wanted to lay in his arms and forget everything even if it is just for a while. She hugged him and he held her in his arms.
