In the waters of the Devil's Triangle, three ominous sailing ships appeared.
"Marie, where are we?"
"Why are there so many zombie monsters here?"
"Weren't William Birkin and Golden Lion, who created these zombie monsters, killed by Rifan?" Honoka muttered, her face displaying concern, exhaustion, and sadness.
Because through the reincarnation communication interface, they know that zombies have strong viruses.
Therefore, Honoka dared not approach the zombie at all after seeing them.
"I don't know, but these zombies seem unusual," Marie Rose replied.
"I thought those creatures couldn't communicate," she added.
Marie Rose looked equally fatigued. They had been relentlessly pursued by Makoto Itou, losing their crewmates along the way.
Now, as they approached the eerie three-sailboat, they were alone.
"Marie, what is that?" Honoka suddenly pointed in a direction.
Honoka followed her gesture and exclaimed, "What, Honoka... Wait, is that... a ghost?!"
Marie Rose raised her head, initially dismissive, but her eyes widened as she saw the apparitions nearby.
Two genuine ghosts were flying in the air, appearing particularly terrifying up close.
Marie Rose and Honoka exchanged fearful glances before turning to flee.
However, before they could take more than a couple of steps, two white ghosts passed directly through them from behind.
Honoka: "I shouldn't have been born in this world."
Marie Rose: "If there's a hole in the ground, I'd gladly jump in."
The two, penetrated by the ghosts, seemed to lose all strength and knelt to the ground.
At that moment, a girl with pink twintails and an umbrella approached quietly.
"Horohorohorohoro~ Captain Moria, we have new playthings."
The girl covered her mouth and smiled lightly at Honoka and Marie Rose.
Her laughter acted like an alarm clock, jolting Honoka and Marie Rose awake.
They immediately rose and observed the girl attentively.
Suddenly, they realized that the ghosts that had attacked them had now surrounded the girl.
"Real Ghost?!" Honoka nervously asks. "Could you be the Ghost Princess?"
Marie Rose, though silent, had the same fear in her eyes, no longer displaying her previous audacity.
Even she was apparently terrified of ghosts.
"Horo Horo Horo! Welcome to the Thriller Bark, everyone."
"I'm Perona, one of the Mysterious Four, please surrender your shadows, both of you," Perona declared, ignoring Honoka and Marie Rose entirely.
"Shadows?" Honoka blinked, appearing puzzled. "Why would we give up our shadows?"
Marie Rose, not caring how Perona intended to take their shadows, merely wanted to get Honoka away from the terrifying girl.
Before they could turn around, the ghosts passed through them again.
This time, they knelt to the ground as negatively as before.
"Horo horo horo horo! You can't escape in front of my Negative Ghosts," Perona taunted.
"Negative... ghosts?!" Marie Rose said, her horror evident.
She was at a loss for how to deal with this situation.
At that moment, a shadow enveloped Marie Rose and Honoka.
Startled, they turned to see a tall monster, nearly seven metres tall, with an evil expression and a crescent-like smile.
"M-monster!" Honoka cried out in horror, retreating.
But then, she froze in place as she remembered Perona behind her.
"D-damn it! Are you a human or a ghost?!" Marie Rose questioned while resisting her terror.
She stood up, while posing a fighting posture.
"Ghost?" Perona shook her head. "You're quite ignorant. Before you stand Master Gekko Moria, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!"
"S-Shichibukai?!" Marie Rose's eyes widened.
"G-Gecko Moria?!" Honoka stared at the tall man in horror.
Both girl were shocked.
"This is the territory of one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea?!" they exclaimed.
While they realised that Perona and her ghosts were not actual real ghost, Moria's identity weighed heavily on them.
"Kishishishi, didn't expect to find new guests when I stepped out. I'll take your shadows without hesitation. Rest assured, I'll use them to create formidable zombies."
Moria wasted no time, reaching out to grab the shadows reflected in the light by Marie Rose and Honoka.
"How is it possible?! How can our shadow be taken!?" Honoka watched her shadow being captured by Moria, her mind filled with confusion and fear.
Like Marie Rose, Honoka wasn't faring any better. The two could only watch helplessly as Moria retrieved his black shadow scissors and snipped off their shadows. They could only watch helplessly as their shadows left their bodies, wriggling in Moria's hands like sentient black entities. As the shadows departed, Honoka immediately passed out, and Marie Rose's consciousness drifted further and further away. Just as she was about to close her eyes, she instinctively opened the panel of the reincarnation exchange group and asked for help from her master, Helena.
['Kangaroo' Marie Rose: Miss Helena, help me, my shadow has been taken away...]
Blue Star.
As Marie Rose's live broadcast fell into darkness as she fell into a coma, mirroring Honoka's situation.
Despite the blackout, the audience remained.
[Damn, is this Shichibukai Moria's ability? Can he really grab shadows like tangible objects?!]
[Eagle Audience: This defies science. Shadows have no mass, merely forming under sunlight with little connection to the body. How could Moria grasp shadows?!]
[Hehe, why are we discussing science at a time like this? This upstairs has a great sense of humour.]
[Gekko Moria's Devil Fruit ability is fascinating. He can extract shadows without physical forms. According to his earlier words, he can use the shadows he captures to create zombies!]
[Green Pheasant Audience: If someone's shadow is severed, what will happen to them? Honoka-chan won't just die like this, will she?]
[Kangaroo: Damn it, even if Marie Rose didn't fall into the hands of of that bastard Itou, she still end up falling in someone else?!]
[In the end, Honoka and Marie Rose were captured by Moria due to Itou. Speaking of which, the girl named Perona has also special abilities. Negative ghosts! Being touched by this entity seems to induce an abnormal state, but it's unclear how far this ability can be extended.]
[Green Pheasant Audience: Both Moria and Perona's abilities are extremely terrifying. Even watching through the screen, I was still shocked. It's a shame that the two lovely girls, Honoka and Marie Rose, seem to be nearing their end.]
[Kangaroo: No, they won't! How could Marie-chan fall like this? Isn't Rifan planning to confront Moria? He'll surely help them!]
[Hehe, the guy upstairs truly believes in Brother Rifan. Speaking of which, Brother Rifan's vision is quite astute; he's even considering recruiting Moria, who possesses such a unique ability, as the captain of his subordinate pirate group.]
[Yes, if Brother Rifan succeeds, the Black Pearl Pirates will become incredibly powerful!]
[Green Pheasant Audience: Moria and Perona possess special abilities; no matter how strong Rifan is, he might fall short against them!]
[Green Pheasant Audience: Indeed! Besides, Rifan's attempt to recruit Moria for himself doesn't guarantee that Moria will agree!]
[Elephant Audience: The one above is correct! I've just received the latest news from Akua, the reincarnator of our Elephant country from the Beasts Pirates! Moria once engaged in a fierce battle with Kaido! So even if Rifan can defeat Hancock, he may not be a match for Moria!]
[Camel Audience: Moria fought Kaido?! That's incredible! Now Rifan is in real trouble!]
[Green Pheasant Audience: Fascinating! Rifan made an interesting choice. When he approaches Moria, he might regret it, haha.]
After learning that Moria had once fought Kaido, the audience, except for those in Panda and other countries who hoped Rifan could assist Honoka and Marie Rose, began to doubt Rifan's ability to defeat Moria. Nevertheless, they didn't realize that the encounter between Moria and Kaido had occurred a long time ago, and the strength gap between the two had reached a terrifying level. Moria and Kaido's previous rivalry would not impede Rifan's acceptance of Moria.
On the contrary, it would help Moria become the captain of the pirate group under the Black Pearl Pirates!
