I will be publishing this chapter as a notice regarding the fact that many more people are now joining this fanfic, which surprised me. So, I want to clarify a few things since I originally created it over a year ago.
First, this was one of the first fanfics I ever wrote, so it's going to have many mistakes, especially because it was initially written in the first person. Later, I switched to third person as I found my writing style over time, so there will be some confusion at the beginning in certain parts. I didn't do a full revision, just skimmed through it, so there may be some errors, especially in the first 20 chapters.
This fanfic wasn't very serious at the beginning. In fact, I started with a soul making wishes to a Rob, plucking fruits and aspects. After all, I just wanted to experiment with creating an adventure where Luffy had different but OP powers, with important characters in his crew from the very start.
Because of this, I added characters that I liked imagining in his crew. Even though it may seem silly how he acted and convinced them, I don't intend to change that now, as I don't have time. The entire first volume needs a big overhaul, and I want to start the story with around 10 chapters of Luffy's childhood instead of those memories he acquired in the first chapter, which I had redone from the original idea.
A major right and wrong move I made in this story was discovering ChatGPT starting from the chapter where Kuina met her father in her village. I began testing the tool, guiding it to write what I wanted, and I was amazed by the details ChatGPT gave me at first, while I simply asked it to rewrite my passages with more depth. Of course, I now see this was a big mistake.
Unfortunately, I used this tool for the entire first part of the story that I had already written, since I was initially publishing this fanfic in Portuguese until chapter 96. I would simply ask ChatGPT, 'Rewrite this with more details...' So, there are some exaggerations, although I revised it a year ago and cut most of what the tool created.
But there was also a positive side that makes me not regret anything, because thanks to this tool, I was able to start translating into English. As a writer, I learned a lot while organizing everything the tool gave me. After Skypiea, I stopped using the tool and continued writing the story on my own. I believe I've become better than when I started, or at least that's what some people tell me.
I want to redo this. I want to change things in the future, but for now, I don't have the time.
Another point is that there are some decisions, like Luffy's fight against Nami. I included that fight and gave the girl the fruit for a reason. I wanted to introduce the powers of the mythical beasts, the Eikons. I would have handled it differently now, perhaps made it more reasonable to reach that fight, but I wouldn't avoid it. After all, I needed to showcase those powers that would be used much more frequently in later chapters.
Anyway, I just wanted to clarify a few things. This is a harem story. There will be +18 scenes, but the fanfic doesn't solely focus on that. Luffy is already a father during the timeskip. You might see that as a weakness, but it's natural for a man, even if he's fighting against the entire world.
Additionally, there will be even greater adventures than Luffy's original ones in some other places. It's not because he'll have Shirahoshi, Lami, Yamato, and Kuina from the beginning that he won't visit their homelands or won't be able to recruit new crew members. He may start with four easily, but at the moment, he has over 30 members in his main crew and dozens of captains in his own fleet with thousands of soldiers during the timeskip. In fact, I'm currently writing the Wano war arc, where Luffy will summon 20 captains from his fleet and thousands of soldiers and giant animals to sail to Wano against Kaido and Big Mom at the same time in a declared war.
It will be a long adventure. There are already 900,000 words written in this fanfic, and I plan to finish it with over 1,200,000, perhaps even 1,500,000 words if everything goes according to plan.
So, this was a brief notice for the beginning of this adventure. I hope you enjoy it if you can overlook the early mistakes, and I wish you a good and long journey in this adventure!
