"Looks like we have new student!," Andrei was getting sick of hearing those words. Every single teacher who had entered their classroom for the past two days had been saying the same thing. Soon they'd ask him to introduce himself.... for the hundredth time!
"Please stand up and give a little introduction." The tall, light skinned man with bald hair,or as Nigerians often call it afaridan ,said. Andrei resisted the urge to roll his eyes and stood up,doing as he was told.
"My name is Da'vion Andrei Da'silva. Science student." The more he was asked to introduce himself, the more his introductions would lessen. Soon he'd be saying only his name.
"Say that your name again." The bald man said, just like every other teacher who asked for introduction would say once they heard him speak.
"It's Da'vion sir. Dah-vee-on."
He watched as the man attempted the name. once, twice, three times. Then clapped his hands and said like the others,
"How about I just call you Andrei?." Andrei sighed.
"It's no problem sir." He replied, then sat back down. The bald man brought out a marker and started talking, but Andrei wasn't paying much attention to what came out of his mouth. His eyes were glued to the back of the girl sitting in front of him.
Kinfe.
He often found himself staring at her. There wasn't a word or logic as to why. He simply just did.
Kinfe was leaning her head and part of her back on the wall as her pen danced furiously on the paper. Only the side of her face was on display for him to stare at ,and he didn't seem to mind at all.
The girl was fascinating. He didn't know exactly what about her was. Maybe it was her character.Or maybe her beauty.... But he knew for sure that she was different from the others.
He'd only been here for two days but he was convinced he'd already figured her out.
Kinfesioluwa was a girl full of words, but rarely spoke. She was both social, but at the same time,anti-social. She would sit on her own reading, whilst her peers where chatting amoungst themselves. And she would only join in if she was called upon. She was an eager person when it came to history and english, but reluctant when it came to math and calculations. She rarely smiled, but when she did,her smile was always something worth remembering. She ate a lot....
Andrei didn't know how he was able to figure out so much about her in just two days, but you could say he was a very observant person.
He had also became quite popular in the past two days-Mostly around the girls, but popular still.
DLC girls are always eager to talk to him, once they noticed how free and friendly he was with everyone. The SS1,the Ss2 ,and even few of his class girls who weren't either swept off their feet by their princes,or hating the guts of male species. Andrei was now considered the new pretty boy, pushing Aaron Amahle down as the second.
Andrei had made so many attempts to talk with her, but somehow something would always get in the way. Kinfe hadn't said a single word to him since their little introduction on his first day. He was dying to hear her voice again....To see her beautiful smile once again.
"-to state the law of diminishing returns." Andrei blinked a few times, returning to the present, and watched as a girl stood up to speak to the teacher.
Alyshia.
That was the girl's name. Or atleast he thought it was.... It started with an 'A' anyway. She was one his buddy's twin.
They were nothing alike.
Ayden was full of life, goofy, and always excited. Whilst the other one was... more reserved.
"The law of diminishing returns states that-" Andrei's attention was pulled away from the alyson girl when he heard a sneeze. Kinfe placed her left hand over her nose and mouth as she sneezed yet again.
For some reason it sounded cute.
"Bless you." Andrei said. The girl who barely said a word to him for the past two freaking days, turned her head and smiled at him.
There goes my heart . It wasn't a big smile, but it was a smile nonetheless---A small tug on her lips, and a little shine in her eyes. Andrei made sure to memorize every bit of that smile, which was soon after missing from he face, like it never even happened. Kinfe turned her attention back to her front, listening to the girl who was speaking to the whole class, but not once staring at her direction like the others were doing.
